I think it's Kang that scattered them through time. Kang ruled when Apocalypse was young and he other through Kang, who is also a Reed Richards relative..😮

Mother Askani is Rachel Summers (daughter of Scott and Jean from an alternate timeline "DOFP") who got flung in the the future and ended up finding her "brother" Nathan. There's a lot of backstory but isn't there always when it comes to the X-Men LOL.

so Rachel is Scott's daughter with Jean from alternate timeline and Nathan is Scott's son with Madelyne from the main timeline but had to be taken to the future?

@@naufalkhoiruzaqi954 They had no technology to save baby Nathan in the present so to save his life he was sent to the future. Who did it is different in the comics then in the cartoon.

Keep in mind, Onslaught festered in Xavier's mind for a while before he emerged. Could very well be early hints for season 3. Some of the cameos you didn't catch were members of Alpha Flight (Canada's superhero team) and the Winter Guard (Russia's super soldiers)

And Polaris....Magneto's other daughter..you missed her...also remember Rogue and Roberto were fighting on the Blue Side of Moon, where the fought the Sha'ir..so technically they all could survive.

Mother Askani...aka Rachel Summers the future child of Jean and Cyclops....so this taking from the comic book of the Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix storyline. But it seems the xmen will deal with Apocalypse across the past, present and future timeline is my guess

1:57 The helmet doesn't actually block telepathy. It's Magneto who creates magnetic interference. Having a piece of metal helps. And a powerful telepath can get through. I'm guessing Magneto lost concentration a bit lol

Finally they made Askani aka Rachel S.....s! I hope they do her justice in the cartoon! She's the most important supporting character of ALL X-Men history dealing with time(& the best stories by the way) and the ORIGINAL time traveller mutant before Cable and Bishop! I think they make one enemy at the time because of the short number of episodes. So, next season will focus on Apocalypse. They will probably tease Onslaught's creation trough the season and we'll get him in season 3 properly this time. We were so misleading, us X-Men's fans, but we know it's a matter of time considering what's happened between X and M.

@@MikeyVenture Ray was the one who brought Nate to save him from the TO-virus & made a clone who will be raise by Apocalypse to become Stryfe. Also, she brought Jean & Scott to the future when her clan & herself was defeated to raise Nate as an infant in the future(The Adventures of Cyclops & Phoenix). It's where they truly killed Apocalypse and knew his secrets & weakness. Recently, in the Krakoa era, she fully embraced her Askani codename & role.
