X-Men,Spider-Man the Animated Series,and Batman the Animated Series not only were the best 90s cartoons,but they had the best themes in cartoons for that decade.

Hard for me personally to remember batman and Spiderman theme. X-Men is unforgettable almost up there with Star Wars John Williams stuff.

I prefer the original but theres things I like about the new one. I like the added guitars and the slightly faster tempo. I like the updated clean HD animation. It keeps the same elements from the original, but it just updates them. The only thing I would like to be put in is the explosion sound when the X explodes. They removed it for some reason.

Love them both. Love how they are doing their best to stick to the original. Also love the little add ins. We could have gotten something completely off the cuff. They seemed to have listened to the fan for the most part and are giving us a true continuation of the original series.

I do think the original hits harder for one reason: the crunchier sound mixing. The sound effects during the character intros and action scenes are practically part of the song in the original. In contrast '97's feels too clean, like they were afraid of overpowering the music itself so the effects are either softened or removed entirely.

I still believe the 90s version is better, some power effects look better, the storm looks better, but!! Some scenes are more detailed like the cyclops scenes.

Because theyre doing her 80s Chris Claremont Storyline when she had that hair cut. Some what ironic since the original show was based on Jim Lee's 91 era, but they're doing her 88 arc. So she'll probably get her black suit too then more then likely progress back into her Jim Lee look.

@@shamanking0027 because this is a new show made in 2024. What they made was reminiscent of the old show, but new enough to differentiate it. If you want to watch the old show you can. The episodes are streaming.

I only just caught up with the original animated series from the 90s, but theres elements in both i like over one another. What i like: Theres more crisp animation. The colors feel more saturated. Theres more characters added in the intro. The intro is returned! Hot take, but i think storms mohawk look is the best. What i dont like: Im not a fan of the designs for morph or magneto. Morph looks like the chameleon. I wish he looked like how he did in the original series. As for magneto, i hate the long bicep length gloves and i dont like the big M logo on his outfit. I suppose its because i prefer his original look over this newer look.
