Spider-Man the Animated Series crossed over back in the day with X-Men the Animated Series so they're in the same universe. Also, because of guest stars Spider-Man the Series did it's also possible the show is canon to the 90's Iron Man Series, 90's Hulk Series, and 90's Fantastic Four Series.

Yep I remember that 2 part episode of the Spiderman cartoon where spidey goes there to try and get a cure. So good. Spideys hand also appeared webbing something in the x me cartoon during the Phoenix saga

Us to. Cyclops is so great in the comics but they always put wolverine first. All episodes on Disney+ I definitely recommend it.

Yes, indeed seeing Gambit jumping on. Wolverines back and charging up. His claws were so bad ass and I got goosebumps. When I heard Cyclopes say to me my X-Men.....

They kept the animation looking like it did in the 90's, so just watch a couple of the old episodes to remind your brain of the pace of the animation, it was different 30 years ago. 😁

I only remember Spiderman the animated series the most lol & some of the X-men crossovers they did but damn I gotta reach the X-men now before this comes out 😂I only remember the Wolverine episodes, some with gambit & rogue & Bishops entrance into the show

I'm hoping Jean has Rachel in the oven. Also, doesn't Gambit's power make the items he charges explode, or am I misremembering? And can he just charge the claws, or is Wolvie's whole skellington charged? I have questions! In the comics, when Xavier died/went to the shiar empire back in the late 80s, he left the school and team to Magneto as well, during one of the times Mags was pulling a face turn. In fact, for the OG New Mutants, Magneto spent more time as their school headmaster than Charles did!

I did start to think the same thing. I am curios on the next shot on what wolverines going to do with those charged up claws. I would guess even if they explode they are indestructible right. So there’s an explosion but the claws survive. Also agree that should charge up his whole skeleton though

Never really have a problem with that charge claw idea tbh Yes it loads and blows but like if the object is indestructible or just really hard ita cool, explosives on top of whatever weapon

@@LegendsofPodcasting the actress who portrayed her originally also stated that she didn't know initially that the character was Asian and she didn't feel right now portraying a Asian character so she wanted somebody of that ethnicity to play the character. Not to take away from the initial work she did as her, that she loved it, but apparently she has gotten slack for it over the years.

I take it this doesn’t follow the comics? Because earth 616 Jean doesn’t have any biological children. Cable is the son of Madelyn Pryor and Rachel is from an alternate earth.

The trailer really is great! It's a shame though that Disney has decided to change some of the characters to support "modern politics." It'll ruin the show for most of those who'd like to see it for the nostalgy.

They're the embodiment of 'woke' since the 60's. The main subtext from the comics reflected common prejudice themes such as racism, sexism, religion etc that mutants went thru.
