People complain about Wolverine not needing a sword because he’s got his retractable claws. Yet they forget he’s used katanas in the past. Even when he still had his adamantium weapons. But I guess I could look into this event. Maybe it’ll be pretty good.

For me, I just find it funny that Logan wields a sword.. Sure, he's had at least a century's worth of combat experience (unarmed, bladed etc.) but still.. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Those people obviously also forgot that Wolverine had a special blade forged for him by a Japanese legendary swordssmith Muramasa. He's forged many blades but two have existed in Marvel comics that played a big part in Wolverine's life= The Black Blade (currently owned by Silver Samurai) and the Muramasa Blade (made for Wolverine).

Did the same thing in HoX/PoX. The titles were supposed to be read as House of X and Powers of Ten, for Moira's ten lifetimes.

Yeah, it's written as "X of Swords" but reads as "Ten of Swords".

@@mohamedm9394 Well the Hickman-helmed X-Men stuff has been excellent, and he's the man in charge for this event, so I'm confident. He has clearly been leading into this since House of X and the other authors who jave been working with him have also really been delivering consistent quality. HoX/PoX absolutely earned confidence in his ability to deliver these big overarching plots.

Zu they aren’t tie ins, they’re chapters in the story. You gotta read all of the the chapters to get the full story and if you want it to make sense.

There are a lot of lame comics (especially these last 5 years), but there's so mucb good out there that you'll never run out of things to read. Seriously, pick up trade paperback recommendations. When written and drawn well, comics are fantastic. Good directors are good directors, but the biggest reason why people connect to comic book films js because the concepts and characters are on point. The comics themselves are what opened the door for their movies to be good in the first first place.

This looks AMAZING!! As an X-Men fan since the early 90s, Hickman your work has been absolutely phenomenal!! I can’t wait for X of Swords and a possible X-Men VS Avengers part 2 down the road because that showdown is inevitable in my opinion.

I don't think it's the best series of the bunch, but Excalibur seems to be an important book for this event. Really, I think X-Men and X-Force are the best books. Marauders has its moments and Wolverine is pretty dope too, considering the X-Force writer is doing it.

@@Alex-yx5qh i don't think we know that for sure. We're supposed to believe that, but we don't really know the true nature of these rebirthed versions of previously dead mutants. Philisophically, I suppose the real question is whether or not you consider a copy of a person to be the same as the original.

A slightly worrying fact is that both the new Wolverine book and Juggernaut don't use the Dawn of X style or logo's, but I guess that doesn't necessarily have to mean anything. Though I do think it fair to expect some change in the status quo post X of Swords, but I'm hoping Krakoa will stick for a while longer. There's a lot left to discover.

It aint right that an omega level mutant like Storm is getting a power sword. If I were the other mutants with lesser powers, I'd protest and refuse to go to battle without one. Especially, now that deathd in Other World can't be brought back by the Five.

I think apocalypse will turn on krakoa so you think that is the betrayal but someone else will turn and it will be even more devastating. I do agree it will be beast or young strife... I mean young cable

Divyesh shukla, Wolverine has skill with using a sword but he’s not that good, he got his a$$ handed to him by an elderly man with a sword in the comics back in the day. Anyways he’s known for surviving attacks that would instantly kill a normal human and his hacking and slashing berserker rage. He’s not the most skilled warrior but he’s a bad a$$. I think this series will be stupid.

It is honestly still very much shrouded in mystery. At the very least it's going into the history of Arakko, the original 4 horsemen, and 10 Swordbearers vs 10 Mutants.

Magik has been getting a big push lately. She has been every where she plays a important role in the upcomming Savage Avengers Issues and she was also in Thor #6 also plays a role in Strange Academy.
