This story better be good... because if it's just a bunch of pointless fighting, which should be one-sided victories then It's just going to be another rushed X-men vs. ____ which will be retconned in a few years.

The last thing the Avengers want is civilians getting caught in the crossfire of a feud between two races with a high sense of self. Also, the Avengers have friends on both sides; I'm sure they'd prefer that they don't kill each other.

He didn't care if the earth got destroyed as long as it meant making more mutants if it didn't get destroyed, and that's EXACTLY what he conveyed to Cap when he blasted him! THAT'S what got Cap mad, and he had every right to be! CYCLOPS was the one who was endangering the world! CYCLOPS fired the first shot! CYCLOPS started the last conflict; and over what, dragging a bunch of people over to the side of the oppressed against their will?! As far as I'm concerned, the Phoenix screwed over more lives than it saved. Trevor Hawkins, normal boy, BAM, eyes all over his body! Iara Dos Santos, normal girl, BAM, she's a were-shark! Not that I don't think they're cool characters; but I mean, there powers were forced on them by the Phoenix.

The same Phoenix Force that the X Men has been dealing with for *years* The Avengers didn’t want to “talk” it out Cap wanted to take charge over a situation that he was not knowledgeable in. He literally showed up to Utopia with dozens of Avengers. Cyclops of course about the Earth are you dense? They LIVE on it. Cyclops knew they could’ve handle the situation and had trained Hope to be a Phoenix Host. This plan got bashed in by the Avengers who wanted to KIDNAPPED Hope from Utopia, hunted down the rest of the X Men worldwide, and thanks to Tony’s “Phoenix Buster splinter the Phoenix created the very threat they had to face. This was the only hope for Mutantkind and Scott was not going to pass on it. An insane person would’ve passed on it. Even when they got corrupted by the splinter Phoenix Force they STILL helped out humanity and eradicated crime everywhere. Only with consistent nagging by the Avengers did they turn hostile. Also Phoenix ruin more lives than it helped? Tell that to millions of mutants alive thanks to it or you know the time Jean literally saved the Universe speaking of which…. *SCOTT WAS RIGHT!!!* The whole argument was that they couldn’t have known what the Phoenix would’ve done if it came to Earth. Guess what? It did EXACTLY what Scott said it would do and more mutants were born! Then Cap had the audacity to say they won and Cyclops was always wrong lol And I know Charles died but that was the only death the PHOENIX caused. Which btw Charles was back less than 4 years later in our time even less in comic book time. Saying anything other than Scott was right doesn’t support what happen in the book.

That movie was so refreshing, the music, the CGI, everything! Zhao nailed it, it's just that people can't see the new thinking behind it. I really wish the Eternals get the respect they deserve.
