When the Swiss competitor flew, there was less cloud cover at that location. I downloaded the footage from his camera last night. End of the mystery.

Daily clips do not contain information, they just show footage from the past day. The information is on the competition website and will be part of the final film after the competition is over. This will be a standard documentary with voiceover.
