i was looking to get D9S but it have 6500mAh battery with bigger screen & that mean the battery will not last long without charging! while the D8W 10000mAh with small screen & i was disappointed! thats was really weird for me! but still D8 is a beast. Xtool nailed it with their tools awesome features & subscription & prices! i bought D8W & it's in the way. 1739

New D8 come with 5000 battry only so order extra battery free when purchase and put 2 inside

My 2007 manual toyota corolla got no faults . Only got 5 modules, 1 of them is immobilizer and other one is ac lol . Got d8 but thinking to return it to get d7 to save $$$

Just ordered the D7 through your link. I’m a mobile mechanic and was going to get a snap on solid or modis. They cost thousands. I’m hoping this will do the job the same.

@@dominozonda yup, it’s only not read a few vehicles. But I think that’s was probably due to the vehicle having a faulty OBD. It’s really been brilliant. You sometimes have to use the chassis number instead of auto detect but that as not really a big issue. (Mostly fiats) Even the live data is brilliant. Updates regularly too when connected to Wi-Fi. For the money you can say go wrong 🙌🙌🙌🙌

I'm sure it does. From my research Xtool supports the most cars right out of the box from what I've seen

If you have a non-USA brand car it's great. I have a D7 and D8. (Recently received). I find that neither does much with my early Dodge minivans (up to 2006). Either Dodge has locked all the functionality or XToool is geared more toward non-USA vehicles. Really disappointed because I had high expectations. With these vehicles it's little more than an OBD2 scanner.

Now a days Dodge actually has locked out anyone other than techs from accessing most functions. Not even Ford or GM has done that, at least yet. Have you reached out to their support to see if they can add what you're looking for? X tool can sometimes add things, I know they have for me. Also, a pre-2006 minivan is pretty simple.. are you sure the ECU (or whatever module you're using) is even capable of doing what you're looking for?

I bought a D7, many of the functions that are supposed to work on cars that have the features do not work. For example, it show it supports toyota tpms id write, but it does not work. working with their tech support is almost worthless. I should have bought the launch.

I hear what you're saying Allen. The problem is that there is a lot of tools that claim to do certain functions, but the reality is that they will do those functions, but only on certain vehicles, which is really frustrating for both sellers and customers. We have worked with iCarsoft, Autel, Launch X-Tool, and find that this issue exists with all of these tools. There is no one tool that does every function for every vehicle unfortunately Thanks..

Scan tool network is correct. I believe you are reffering too its special fun tions which are something the xtool has specific capability of but it can only do things you car is capable of. The xtool is not your cars computer. For example the xtool may say it can do a autobrake bleed which is a special function but most cars dont have that capability so you cant do that on say a toyota corrollar but maybe a mercedes c class is capable and you could do it there. Some cars have the ability too program new colors into the dash but if it doesnt then the xtool cant make something out of knowhere! There are glitches. There are issues. But they get sorted out over time and tou most likely womt run into any. It works on most modern cars but you could mostlikely not but you could find one it cant communicate with. Its also particularly better suited for newer cars. 2000 and up. I believe its mostly compatible for the 90s too but its not gonna work on an 80s vw beetle.

I own a Launch X-431 and you must buy Launch TSGUN separately if you want to replace TPMS in your car and activate it so you might need a separate tool for X-tool tpms idk, PLUS if you want to use IMMO module you MUST buy buy it separately as well, anything else? Yes Launch annual software renewal costs 1K+ so now I am thinking about returning my Launch scanner and buy a D7 but IDK!! I am not sure!! 🙁.

How do you know what is fake from what is real? Those all of the special functions work? Your not really reviewing your more describing the tool at a high level.
