Sometimes during the down time between videos, I'll think about "I wonder if Xander is out there right now.. in this moment, experiencing the wild and doing what saved him".. and I'm just sitting here thinking about what he's doing, rather than going out there and experiencing myself. These survival videos, and a lot of the content you upload out in nature, are incredibly inspiring. I hope you know that, Mr. Xander

Its pretty damn hard if you're talking opioids or benzos. Those are the ones you need to absolutely stay away from alcohol is really bad too. People don't realize how much they are going to suffer for months when they stop taking these drugs like you won't be able to sleep a single second for prob 2-3 weeks. Stay far far away from any benzo or opioid painkiller. Just hope someone reads this so I can save them the pain.

This is such a wonderful channel. I used to be so closely in touch with nature, but unfortunately I was diagnosed with a variety of diseases that need constant monitoring, so I can never stray too far from my house nowadays. Rediscovering the beauty of the outside world through this channel has been super emotional, and I can't thank Xander enough. Breathtaking views, stunning editing, dedication to the work, this is perfection.

I enjoy the longer format! You still edited it down nicely, and didn't include a bunch of unnecessary fluff, so nothing feels diluted. That weather must have been really challenging. Seems cold and wet. It's fortunate there are so many old birches and other hardwoods in your area; where I am located in Newfoundland even the standing dead woods is often really wet inside.

When you had the opportunity to take a break from training it was relaxing being in the hills, desert, jungles all that good stuff.
