2 nighter in some inclement weather here in early spring. Cooked some delicious food and spotted some wildlife. Likely an Otter not a fisher

Sometimes during the down time between videos, I'll think about "I wonder if Xander is out there right now.. in this moment, experiencing the wild and doing what saved him".. and I'm just sitting here thinking about what he's doing, rather than going out there and experiencing myself. These survival videos, and a lot of the content you upload out in nature, are incredibly inspiring. I hope you know that, Mr. Xander

I broke my leg backpacking back in October of last year, with that and all the normal struggles of life I haven't been able to go hiking again (yet), but you make giddy with anticipation for my next trip, in the meantime I appreciate being able to live vicariously through you. If anyone with addiction problems is watching this it is important to remember that you can escape it. It is not easy and early on it sucks so much because you think nothing else can make you feel good. Its a long road but you can do it. Xander has done it. I have done it. Just go one day at a time and take it slowly. Good luck. Great vid as always dude. Keep fighting the good fight.

Its pretty damn hard if you're talking opioids or benzos. Those are the ones you need to absolutely stay away from alcohol is really bad too. People don't realize how much they are going to suffer for months when they stop taking these drugs like you won't be able to sleep a single second for prob 2-3 weeks. Stay far far away from any benzo or opioid painkiller. Just hope someone reads this so I can save them the pain.

This is such a wonderful channel. I used to be so closely in touch with nature, but unfortunately I was diagnosed with a variety of diseases that need constant monitoring, so I can never stray too far from my house nowadays. Rediscovering the beauty of the outside world through this channel has been super emotional, and I can't thank Xander enough. Breathtaking views, stunning editing, dedication to the work, this is perfection.

I enjoy the longer format! You still edited it down nicely, and didn't include a bunch of unnecessary fluff, so nothing feels diluted. That weather must have been really challenging. Seems cold and wet. It's fortunate there are so many old birches and other hardwoods in your area; where I am located in Newfoundland even the standing dead woods is often really wet inside.

13:00 just looks so damn peaceful. I will say the one thing I liked about being in the Marine Corps some times would be training in the field. When you had the opportunity to take a break from training it was relaxing being in the hills, desert, jungles all that good stuff. Now that I’m out and can afford some better gear I definitely want to go back out for the fun of it instead of training my ass off in the crappy weather.😂

Xander, I really love your content. I have been unable to backpack lately, and your videos always help to motivate me and inspire me. The way you capture the quiet nature and rare views into wildlife remind me of the mountains near where I live. SOOooooo loving your videos Xander. Such a breath of fresh air. What I wouldn't give for be able to go camping with you. Your spots are gorgeous, you make amazing food... smh. It's so amazing to be able to go on these journeys with you! LOVE your videos & can't imagine all the work put into them! You're amazing. Thank you!

I can assure you that we did enjoy this ''long'' video Xander.. It's strange how time can be so different.. I was studying for my upcoming exam right before I got a notification that regarded you publishing a new video. And the second I clicked into your video time just flew man... Going from boring exam preparation where time seems to stay still and not rewarding, to your videos where 45 minutes feels like 4 minutes and 34 seconds because I'm as a viewer is so committed in this exact moment because of pure joy and delight... An amazing impact you fill in many of your viewers! Thank you! see you in the next one!! Sincerely Peder from Denmark

I love waking up to cold cold air. You feel instantly alive! You are killing it! I see you love your Silky Big Boy as much as I love mine. It is my absolute favorite. It can cut with zero doward force applied unlike lesser saws. Just let gravity do its thing and all you have to do is give it linear motion. Amazing how smooth and clean the cuts are. I loved mine so much, I gave 1 to each of my four uncles for Christmas and they loved it. As always, happy travels and stay safe!

It's just incredible what beauty, what atmosphere you were able to create. This is truly a meditative experience watching you. I myself started making videos about my adventures in bushcraft, so I'm interested in everything. Grretings from Belarus
