The character's stance in his art says "monk", but his backstory says "warlock". A multiclass, perhaps? Also, interesting to see a more human-looking take on the dragonborn. Feels like a whole new race, despite being a reskin, and fitting for the world they're building here.

It would be a very unusual multiclass, mostly because monks are just generally terrible for MCing (since they're already MAD, and their martial arts damage depends on class level). Could be some kind of homebrew though

Interested to see this new take on a Dragonborn. I actually quite like that idea of a more human-looking Dragonborn. Feels closer to a Teifling, Aasimar or even the Half-Orc and Half-Elves. Looking forward to seeing Xantheus' story unfold alongside all the rest. Looking forward to the rest of the reveals!

Super excited for all the cast... but all I could think while watching this was how difficult it must have been for Mark to get Tom to just sit and talk to the camera without laughing constantly at his own jokes 😂

I have a character that is similar with the whole part-dragon thing, but I made them Tiefling Variant and based it on the fact that the word Tiefling supposedly mean "lower-plane offspring" which you then could argue would allow it since, dragons ancestors, aka "proto-dragons" are said to been from other planes, including the lower planes. So, far stretched- tiefling variant can be part dragon due to dragon origins.

My first ever D&D character back in 2013 was a gold dragonborn, I've always been a dragon nerd but that day cemented dragonborn as my favorite race. Hearing about this precious dragon boy has me so hype, I find his human appearance to be an interesting take as I've been considering human-like half-dragonblood alongside the full dragonblood in my fantasy setting and Xantheus has cemented the idea for me, whether or not he himself is full or partial in his bloodline it definitely makes me want that diversity to exist in my world.

For some reason, I resonate with Tom so well. Each of his characters feels like some thing I would’ve wanted to do. Including adding knives in my backstory that will inevitably be used against me, but that’s just part of the fun.

Love Xantheus already! I think the design choice to have him be more human in appearance was a really good one! Also, that Xantheus has secrets and wouldn't like inquisitive members of the party is super exciting!

Love the more human take on the dragonborn, sometimes you just want the scales without the whole dragon head. He's giving Dragonbloodline Sorcerer or monk. Maybe druid or rogue

This build up is really cool. This character seems like Monk to me, if so, I wish for it to be a beefed up version showing WotC they way because they have shown they need the assistance. Anyway, things are looking great, and I am very excited to be catching this campaign on the regular. Take care.
