It all depends what roles they had to play as told by the coach. Zidane is better individually in statistics because he mainly played as an attacking midfielder while other 3 were not used for goal scoring purposes. People with nostalgia wouldn't agree but other 3 are better than Zidane.

Me trying to figure out how Zidane is better than the other 3🤔 I think some of this old legends are a bit overrated these days a forward with 300 or 400 goals will not be recognized as one the great but back then a forward with less than 400 goals is treated like a god

@@torito880 I didn't say he is forward or not If Play 20 games and record 20ga does it mean am better than who played 100 games and record 80ga ❓🤔 Both of them are midfielders and Zidane is more of attacking midfielder than Modric ,xavi and Iniesta who played more central midfielder And remember am not trying to say they are better than him,my point is some people consider Zidane among the top 5 best players in football history the same people will not include the other 3 in top 10 of all time so what makes Zidane much better than Xavi, Iniesta and Modric? 3 of them played more games because of their longetivity and you know longetivity is one of the things that makes a player better Again look at Dzeko , Olivia Girioud ,Tomas Mullar even Lukaku none of them is considered one of all time greats while some of the players that are considered one of the all time greats have poor career compared to them

@@odumoduego9125Exactly they're just counting goals and assists. It's common knowledge that players playing forward or attacking midfield will get more assists. In football stats doesn't tell the whole story unlike basketball where you'll get a good overview of game just by lookin at stats.

@@super-gamer.2006 these days football maybe a little difficult because VIR and Zidane is not a better maker than Xavi and Iniesta he is just a little bit overrated Look at Thomas Mullar an attacking midfielder like Zidane I know he plays SS to but his Goal and Assist tally is incredible but no one talks about him infact no one will include him among the 10 best players of this Generation despite all he did Won a world cup for his country just like Zidane Always important for Bayern Munich in the champions league But look at Zidane I have seen some articles that included Zidane in top 10 or 5 of all time They will tell you that he is a legend is he the only legend? Look at attacking midfielders like Frank Lampard with incredible stats Fabrigas and more and no one is talking about them My point is some of those legends are overrated compared players of these days because Ronaldo and messi have set a very high standards Look at Strikers like Dzeko, Immobile, even Lukaku always on fire for Belgium but no one is talking about them If they are from older generation today we will be calling them legends 💪one of the greatest of all time but they are like flops to us And remember I don't hate Zidane it just that my conversation begins with him

Weak analysis, you posed a question but didnt even answer it. The methodology is highly flawed if you just add up their numbers the most offensive midfielder will likely appear as superior, ignoring the fact that Zidane had a very different role to xavi or modric who had more defensive duties.
