I believe when she said Mobile, she was referring to the fact XCloud is available on Mobile (dedicated app on Android, and Browser on iOS) for a lot of the games that have cloud support.

They clearly missed the point at the beginning where it was announced that all games in this showcase were coming out in the next year. AJ was shouting over it and missed it like he tends to do a lot.

Angry Joe is that drunk friend everyone has, that constantly talks over the movie, and then asks what happened. Which is a shame because I would have loved to hear more of Other Joe and Alex’s opinions on the announcements.

I feel bad for smaller devs making games like Ereban where Joe is pretending to be asleep, that game actually looks pretty decent/good. Just feels a bit disrespectful from Joe, i get it the Conference as a whole for him until then wasn't quite up to snuff, but that just kinda felt shitty of him.

This is so much better than watching this alone. Appreciate the Angry Joe crew watching this for us. Good stuff as always

Joe, you can't tell us to support indie games if you are going to write off every single indie game shown as meh, and boring. Plague Tale, cocoon, flintlock, and Benedict Fox look great. Help people get excited for these games who might not normally get excited for indie games. An indie game won game of the year for Christ sake. Please practice what you preach. Don't just hand it off to Alex and OJ.

Its annoying how much important stuff they miss, like the fact that they were only showing games coming out in the next 12 months.

Kind of shocked at the lack of reaction to Silk Song; did none of the Angry crew ever play Hollow Knight?! One of the best MetroidVania-style platformers ever made, I was mind blown to even know that the sequel was coming to Xbox, as they had been talking about it as being a switch exclusive for years!

Okay here is my issue, you guys were complaining and shit throughout the entire showcase, and its totally fine if YOU didn't find much of the game announced to be exciting, but I am so tired of people thinking that every game in existence needs to appeal to them personally. Some of these games are not made for you, clearly they're not your genre or not your type of game so instead of just dunking on them or dismissing them as boring just look at what they're offering and move on. You barely paid attention to the shadowy stealth game that looks really fun and interesting with genuinely impressive shadow movement. Its okay to not be excited for every game, but a game isn't bad or a wasted reveal just because you personally didn't like it. All types of people play games, I know people who say this showcases biggest moment was forza motorsport, and others who say it was the partnership with kojima. Rate the show based on what it is, not what you personally wanted it to be or else you will always end up disappointed. also, the reason there was some obvious missing games from this showcase, like fable, is because they decided instead of doing the thing where they show you a CGI trailer for a game that wont come out for 2 or more years, to instead focus almost entirely on games that have gameplay available or are at the least coming out within the next 12 months, which means we only saw whats being planned from now, up to june of next year. There are other announcements and showcases that will expand on the games coming out the second half of next year. Given what they showed at this event, I am more excited than ever for the next 12 months of xbox. Perspective joe, perspective.

As someone who plays sea of thieves still, yes you can customize your ship but you couldn't customize the cabin and after four years they finally added the ability to name your ship. Obviously, that's not the only new feature they'll showcase them all at a later date.

Hey they get points for Persona especially now that you can get Yakuza and Persona in the same place for the same price.

Time to see if Bethesda can make good on their promises. 1000+ explorable planets doesn't seem feasible unless the vast majority are randomly generated and empty. I would've been happy with several or less planets that had decently large open areas to explore, but each one had the detail and care of open worlds such as Skyrim and Fallout 4.

Its incredible how you can talk over the games that matter and not pay attention to any details they are giving, but when it comes to games that nobody cares about, youre quiet. Ill never understand.

I love you guys but sitting here complaining about quantity and quality of games when all of them are on game pass and what looks interesting is completely subjective. You’re complaining about 2023 and it’s literally all games releasing in the next 12 months wtf are you talking about?! So many brand new IPs to try and some from well renowned studios. You guys gave Kojima nothing at all when that fact he’s working with them alone on a brand new IP is absolutely MASSIVE for Xbox. There’s a total of 50 games releasing in the next 12 months they showed at that ending chart but you guys want more? Disappointing video tbh guys. You gave the summer games show way more positive love than this and they had less to show, way more annoying talking, and a lot less interesting games.

I dont really mind the creation engine and got its own charm to its art style. For me, not every game needs to be unreal engine which i am growing tired of.

I'm beginning to feel bad for xbox because people complain no matter what they do. Last year they have a showcase where they announce a bunch of games in development and people complain saying there's no gameplay and games are too far away. This year they focus on very little CGI and only on games coming in the next 12 months and people still complain.

Regardless if you watched this And went “these games aren’t really for me”. The format of the show was easily the best we could hope for. 90 minutes of straight trailers and gameplay. No dev interviews (minus Kojima). No advertisements (outside of in house ones). Just continuous games straight into our eyeballs and an hour and a half!

This was a showcase that featured so much stuff, the things you liked were so spread out that it seems worst than it was but actually had a ton of stuff to like.

I don't understand Joe's attitude towards this show. He says we should support indie devs, but he was pretty dismissive with almost every game in the show. All he seemed to care about was Starfield. Honestly, I'm more excited about Persona 5 Royal coming to PC than I am about Starfield, because I know what Bethesda has become in the last several years.

Watching movies with aj must be a huge pain. Legit doesnt pay attention talks over everything then asks questions that they answered in the trailer. But overall id give the show a 7/10 they did say at the start everything you see will be releasing in the next 12 months. While i myself am not a huge forza fan had to pay attention to the tech in motorsport becaus all of that is freely useable in fable as they are being developed on the same engine(forza tech).

They did really well on this event. All these games are releasing within 12 months so that's really cool. I'm excited for Starfield.

My standout from the show was Forza Motorsport, I just hope that its not just a shinier reskin of FM7. St Other games which interested me 1. Plague Tale Requiem 2. Scorn 3. High on Life 4. The Last Case of Benedict Fox 5. Starfield (duh)

To answer Alex’s question regarding Halo. Halo Infinite finished season 1 and is in the middle of season 2. Current plan is to have co-op in August and Forge in September. Season 3 begins November. New features including significant bug fixes and weapon/vehicle tuning happens via updates called “drop pods”. There is nothing new to announce other than what has been said. Rumor is Certain Affinity is working on a battle royale for Infinite.

It's absolutely insane that nobody at Joe's team recognized Hollow knight Silksong when its BY FAR the second most expected game announced today behind starfield. LIke I get you always want to pit yourself against the big corpo but you guys should at least know when some of the little guys perform well enough to pump absolutely beautiful gems like Hollow Knight.

This was honestly a great showcase, there was MAYBE 3-4 games I wasn’t at least interested in trying out. And I’m so glad they focused on showing gameplay from games that will be releasing within the next 12 months. I’m honestly sick of seeing CGI trailers from games that are still 2-3 years away from releasing. People gave Xbox crap last year for showing pretty much no gameplay and focusing on CGI trailers. But when they actually focus on showing gameplay, they get crap for not showing a bunch of CGI trailers from games that aren’t ready to be shown yet. Like sure, I would have loved to see something from Avowed or Machine Game’s Indiana Jones game. But they clearly aren’t ready to show gameplay off yet. Give me gameplay over CGI trailers any day.

Kojima is a creator that gets to make what he wants. I’m interested in how he think cloud tech will expand his creative process. He’s clearly an artist first and game designer second. I respect the willingness to just do something hit or miss, because it feels at least authentic.

Vin Diesel is playing a character named Santiago, that is very crucial to the overall story arc (no pun intended). If you have the time (which you don't), you should watch Neddy the Noodle's diary stories for the game, the are extremely well produced using all gameplay, and he hires really good voice actors to play the parts of the characters, you be doing yourself a great service by watching them; it's what really got me into the game.

Everything on this showcase is coming within the next 12 months, Xbox has another show tomorrow that is 90 minutes, we might see future games there.

An odd thing people really complain about in these conferences is that their is too much talking and not enough gameplay. Yet here there is a lot of gameplay and very little talking and people still complain that it was terrible even though they showed a ton of games. While some of the games may not be what "YOU" want, it doesn't mean it's bad. I mean even I'm only interested in a handle full of games here but I still think it was a really good conference because it just kept going. I'd have to give Xbox props for actually doing what people want, showing games.

I think one of the "partial reasons" for a ton of games having the fortnite look is because people with cheap casual gaming pc's can play it. Apparently fortnite can play decently on cheap store bought pc's and laptops.
