How are you feeling with Starfield's new release date of Sept 6th and the Starfield Direct being directly after the Xbox Games Showcase on June 11th?

I'd rather have deadlines being pushed back than unplayable buggy games on day one.

I love it when you guys the content creators are so passionate with what you bring to the table the quality of this video and your videos are awesome I appreciate you so much so thanks for bringing the content please have more content.

Promises and lies are strong words, people need to relax - at the time of the showcase, they expected the games in the next 12 months...they needed more time and that's the right thing to do, always

So how many of the people "holding Xbox to that 12 months" are going to SKIP Starfield because it fell outside of June? I'm guessing NONE.

I wonder more and more how much Forza and Starfield delays might be shifting dates because whatever was targeting this fall wasn't going to make it so they gave Todd even more time to work with and Forza right now behind the scenes probably has 2 dates in mind. One sooner if another game can fit in fall and if it's looking like it won't Forza backs up into that spot. And if it can then Forza moves up a couple months to probably before Starfield. Think Xbox is juggling dates big time. ActivisionBlizzard might be playing a part too. As in not wanting to drop either one of those on DIablo IV. If deal is looking like it'll close by June then they will have that and COD to find room for and not drop on top of each other. Really hated how close Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite multiplayer wound up being

Really disappointed about yet another broken promise by Xbox Game Studios. I am so tired of this companies communication and performance. There is mismanagement all over the place. I damn wished I had decided for a PS5 again, instead of switching to the Series X. This console might have had potential, but it never got released by Microsoft. 😞

As much as I want a polished game when it eventually releases it is frustrating that Xbox/Bethesda have announced this game as fall 22, then first half of 23 only to delay it again. It’s almost intentionally misleading at this point.

Little disappointed that the first half of 2023 release date is pushed back to Q3. Just hope that it's not overhyped and underdelivered like NMS. Dunno if they'll have a Collector's Edition or not but still gonna buy it!

it would be silly to release 5 first party games in the first party of the year and nothing in the second half. I like the format of last year e3. The were actually planning to release alll the games in the next 12 months. no surprise starfield release after abk deal is closed.

Strangely, Rand says he wants quality, so if any of these so-called games were released and played like crap with bugs everywhere, you'll be happy with that? For me, I'd like to see a highly polished game that could live without the" day-one patch", so if it misses its deadline to fix these bugs then let it be.

Do people get mad over delays? Shit happens. I get upset when games are completely canceled. Hell I'm still mad at Capcom for canceling Dead Phoenix on the GCN.

This video / update saved my day. Was having a VERY frustrating time trying to get an HDMI switcher box to work with multiple consoles and a miniPC because of weird 1.4 and 2.0 and 2.1 cable differences etc.. so thanks for this video haha. Now my mood is good again.

Why did they announce so much in 2020, likely becauce coming out of last gen when they had not much to show, they had to show at the start of this gen that the pipeline is full and to show games are coming. So they are delaying Starfield almost a year, just like Halo. Not that i'm complaining, i have enough to play. If they need the time they should take it.

Saying 2022 for xbox 1st party was horrible is a slap to the face of the developers of Grounded, As Dusk Falls and Pentiment. It was definitely light on game releases but the few that they did release were all excellent.

It feels like people forget that delays are a good thing, it just depends how that additional time is used. Now if Starfield got 5 delays, then that's concerning. Lol Skull and Bones got multiple delays, and has been in development for a decade.

I'm getting really impatient. I have to give a half a year of my life just to wait to play the game? I understand why, I just don't have any other games to look forward to playing until then. Bullshit

It don’t matter if it was delayed the games are dropping god of war horizon gt7 all got delayed.

Couple of my guesses were correct. I guessed Redfall in may. Starfield in September. I guessed Forza Motorsport in march, that was completely off. I'm still holding on Avowed or Hellblade 2 on the holidays. Or if it's not any of those two maybe something we don't know about yet or a game that we know about but not expected to come out for Fall. It's shaping up well this year. Plus all those games they announce in E3 last year that will come out spordically through out the whole year.

The narratives don't matter, Xbox fans need to stop being insecure. Quality is there and we want to maintain the quality. Beside, I'm willing to bet you all forget the whole broken promises thing when 1) Starfield launches and it's amazing 2) "One more thing" Hellblade 2 gets a release date.

I’m honestly glad, June was too packed already. This game HAS to be perfect so a fall release made sense.

Still a chance that date it fake to throw us of the scent for when they drop it in march.

Sales will take a big hit with it being in football season. Millions will be at the football stadium all day not sitting at home. If they released on time they get the summer break crowd and nothing else to do for the summer.

You know as someone outside the US I thought the 9.6.2023 meant June ninth, so I'm very disappointed it's coming after the first half of 2023.

This makes Mr wonder if Forza will make thier June deadline as well. The fact they never gave a release date n were now a week into March. I doubt it. They should have never made those promises.

Everybody was frustrated about Starfield initial delay, and many wished for a closer launch date.. but I REALLY dont get all the drama. "THEY PROMISSED! MICROSOFT BROKE A BLOOD PACT!" Dude.. its post covid World, pretty much every single game got delayed AND launched filled with bugs! That didnt stop Playstation and its fans of enjoying a great 2022 basically made of delayed titles! Horizon was a 2021 title, GT7 got delayed and Ragnarok was been promissed since PS5 launch day!! Starfield is a important title for XBoX, Bethesda and us fans. Its big, ambitious and partially developed through Covid. The game is almost here and I just want it to be good, I dont care if it takes a couple extra months past the 12 month window, its not like we dont have games to play, specially 1st party on Game Pass this year!
