Today I will be doing an xbox elite controller 2 faceplate removal and replace it with Extremerate custom Xbox series 2 faceplate. As well as give you a brief overview of Extremerate custom Xbox elite series 2 faceplate replacement. This is an xbox elite series 2 fix. It is pretty easy to fix xbox elite series 2 faceplate but can be daunting for people that are new to repairing.

got the passion red and it came in today, taking off the original faceplate was VERY easy even with the tool it came with, love the way it feels and looks!

i want to know if there is also a tutorial for replacing the back shell. My controller needs both front and back shell to be replaced. I found the replacement part on Amazon but I don't know how to replace the the whole casing. Thanks for the tuorial.

Hey, it's a beautiful faceplate ! What is the feeling compared to the original grips ?

Well it doesn't have that texture grip like on the elite series 2 but it's softer than the plastic you would find on the regular controller. I like the feel of it almost a matte feel.

@@sebastiensrb1299 No problem, I honestly would not replace it until your grips start coming up because when you do replace it if you have not done it before will end up damaging the rubber grips on the handles.

@@sebastiensrb1299 Make sure that you explore all of the options including the physical capability of tighting and loosening the joysticks along with the software side of setting custom response curves for input sensitivity. This helped me gameplay tremendously although it can be tedious and take time to setup properly.
