IT WONT EVEN TAKE ME TO THE XBOX HOME SCREEN

RESOLVE: i had this issue. Xbox worked on older TV but i bought a new 4K UHD TV and only got NO SIGNAL. Tried all troubleshooting to no avail. Turned out my HDMI port was broken. Some of the pins were pushed in. It worked on older TV because it didn't need to utilize HDMI port to full capacity in order to display on that TV which ran on lower resolution. Found a local repair shop here in Melbourne - GameFreaks in Thomastown. He replaced it in about an hour and it now works brilliantly. He charged me $120 AUD. He said this problem (broken HDMI port) is very common on XBOX 1 S. Be sure to check the pins in your HDMI cable as well as the port. I was able to physically see the damage. Hope this helps.

My xbox does this everytime I try to use it, I unplug all electronic things during the week and plug it back in. Half the time this little trick works .. Getting ready to just put my xbox in the trash.

Spent 3-4 hours troubleshooting and all it was was the cable needed to be switched re: in/out hdmi on the xbox. Many thanks cuz I bought a new tv primarily for gaming and for when the next gen xbox comes out. You solved my problem in less than three minutes.

This seems to be an issue when Microsoft does a console software update.

Xbox worked perfectly, then when i tried using my elgato with it I always get a black screen. I use a monitor. When plugging it into my TV it showed up fine.

My problem is that it doesn't show the screen still and I used a different way and all you could hear is sound thanks for wasting my time

I tryed that with the same exact xbox and i pushed the power button and other button in at the same time and never herd another noise

The one problem that's happening to me is it's coming on but it wont load on my TV nor will my controller work or anything else Just gonna say this for the ones having the problem still, buy another console, it's like the red ring of death but better cause it comes on for a split second then cuts it's own throat and dies again...

my xbox did the same thing, i just unplugged the energy cable and the next time I turned on it was fixed

What happened to me was my TV said no signal while Xbox was on. My Xbox was on while watching this video and then after like 2 minutes, the TV worked and said "preparing Xbox". But then it turned off and doing the same thing again....

I tried everything, from switching hdmi to switching TVs, the only thing I seen weird was it saying local catch getting full, I’m still having no signal, I even tried this video out to see if it works and nope

for me the screen doesn't even show. I tried it I don't hear the second beep but I feel the xbox vibrate for like a second, I literally tried everything and it still says no signal. Yesterday the xbox worked. It's been doing this for a long time now and I tried it on the other 2 tvs and it did the same thing. No signal. Usually what happens I just leave it and after like 2 weeks or months I go on the xbox and it works all of a sudden. I tried different HDMI cabels and still nothing. Idk wth is wrong with it but I need it now bcs I need to play my game :/

Never have I had more issues with a console than the Xbox. Everything under the sun from constant crashes, WiFi disconnects, ghosting transactions, deleting saves, removing my games, removing my Xbox Game Pass, random coms bans, constant freezing, many blue screens and now this has happened to me. My PS4 is older and I’ve never a single issue with it, my Xbox on the other hand is younger and it breaks consistently. Truly the worlds most powerful console.

Thanks bro. I had switched my hdmi cable from my Xbox to my laptop for work and when I plugged it back in to my monitor, my monitor could not read the Xbox. Tried everything by switching hdmi cables and now just thought of the two hdmi cables I threw cuz I thought they were done lol. But, thank God this method worked for my case. Much love.

Really hope this helps someone as God blessed me last sec, I had this same problem possibly still do but basically after days of not trying anymore I gave it a shot and for me thing was my tv totally ignored it being plugged into the HDMI 2 port but upon me plugging it into the HDMI 1 slot it literally immediately connected. Dealing with a LG tv on my end so it may be different for whoever sees this but hopefully it works for you as it did me. Good luck
