Pocahontas is gorgeous, and she fits in perfectly with the premiere dolls! Her hair is absolutely stunning, and I think you’re right. This is the only reimagined Pocahontas that has her in a gown:)

It's such a shame but I do understand why Disney might want to be a bit more sensitive with her than the others as she's based on a real person... but on the other hand, it's completely unfair to her as a character and her fans that she never gets to star in anything :(

It’s a little frustrating that this is the only “modern” design pocahontas has because she is STUNNING. I’m hoping they release her in the style series soon.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their long hair!! I re-root most all my dolls to have super long hair, if they don't already have it - even the male dolls. I'm obsessed!

GIRL OH MY GOD CONGRATS!!! That is such a cool haul! Pocahontas is gorgeous and that Rapunzel is one of the few good dolls of her old mold imo.

This Pocahontas doll gives Kim Kardashian full glam kinda gorgeous look. I bought from flea market but I lost her but I have her iconic original outfit and necklace. Anyway I'm in love with your doll collection. Love from Pakistan 🤩💓

I totally thought the Pocahontas doll was a Cher doll when you pulled it out lol looked just like one. She is definitely my favorite of the two, now I need to see more of these!

do you think that the way the characters are drawn in the animation make certain characters more challenging for doll designers to capture their likeness? i feel like the sleeping beauty dolls especially are disappointing and i wonder if the more stylized art style of the movie is a factor?

That's why I like this one- every other Rapunzel has the sweet look while this one looks more sassy and pompous. I think it's fun to see them in different ways- although this doesn't actually feel like the Rapunzel character AT ALL

There's a Winter Moon doll. I think part of the reason they don't give Pocahontas a lot of attention is that there was a lot of controversy when the movie came out since she was a real person and Disney didn't really tell her story. A lot of Native Americans were upset by the portrayal. I think it makes Disney reluctant to touch the character. I'm not judging you for liking her, just explaining why Disney may be reluctant to do a lot with her.

For a moment I forgot that Rapunzel had long blonde hair; I was thinking she would be the brunette short-haired version. When I saw the doll I was like Who Tf is this

I would LOVE a designer with the short hair. Disney just refuses to acknowledge that EXTREMELY significant and amazing moment from the movie :( As much as I love Tangled: the Series, it was clearly a way to justify doing more long-haired Rapunzel merch

It's so crazy to me that they only ever depict her with long blonde hair because the short brown hair is kind of a symbol of her freedom. Wedding Rapunzel is a beautiful doll, but I hope we get another with the updated face mold
