people complain about a dent in the box making the doll worthless meanwhile i'm over here taking an exacto knife to the bottom of my kristoff and anna set because i couldn't figure out how to get the big plastic cover off

That’s my thing with boxed dolls… they get destroyed if you LOOK at them wrong… I can’t do it. Free the dolls!!

Mulan is my favorite Disney character! I love this doll! Random note but, I was trying to tell someone that Mulan was my favorite disney princess once and I said "Blue Lawn" instead of Mulan, I said it completely serious too until I realised. Now and then I still mess up because I can't ever forget about it. LOL.

I feel you on the satin thing! It makes my skin crawl (sensory issues) lol Plus I think satin looks cheap imo.

also the base is really difficult to work with, I recommend what I do when I need to clean rust from the inside of my Disney doll stands, remove any doll from the vicinity(if you’re clumsy like me I melted mother gothels hair that way) and heat up the base with a blow dryer, it should pop right out and you can make a new base for it no problem!!

Accidentally buying dolls via THAT method feels like something I should have seen coming, and now its concerning lmao 😅. But congrats! You've got a nice stride going now that you own three of the OG designer dolls, and Mulan has always been my favorite. Reminds me of those antique Chinese lamps and pottery with the painted artwork on them. Its interesting seeing this line out of the box too, because I almost never see people debox the first wave.

🤣 we’re taking precautions from now on. Every time some weird thing ends up in the shopping carts. Mulan seriously looks incredible so I’m super happy she’s home no matter the method bahaha! I’m definitely keeping my eye out for more of these, they’re way cool

I started working two more jobs recently so I’m financially more flexible than I was before. I guess I subconsciously knew that when I made the purchase... that or it was dumb luck

Mulan is very pretty. I used to have her, but I sold her a while ago. My favorite ones in line are Ariel, Jasmine, Rapunzel, and Mulan. I only have Rapunzel and Jasmine out of this line.

Hey, I always find your reviews very relaxing and I love your personality. P.S. anybody who gives you crap for unboxing your dolls is ridiculous. They’re your dolls and you can do what you want with them. I myself unboxed my Disney Limited Edition dolls because I like to rearrange them and have fun with them. My favorite from the 2011 line would be Ariel followed by Jasmine. I wasn’t a big fan of the Aurora one, because I hated her bangs on that doll. What are your thoughts on this? Also, I agree with you on satin, while it looks pretty, it snags way too easily.

Omgg I don’t know if you really care abt barbie but i really wanted to know what’s your thoughts on the “Barbie Looks” dolls :) They’re like barbie basics 2021 (of course the quality will never compre but the vibe is kinda similar?), they’re very diverse plus their screenings have no pixel! (Literally so rare for a current barbie line? They even look like higher quality than the non pixelated cheap sticker stamps barbie has for non pixelated dolls. They’re all so well painted). Also they’re like $19 wich is impressive considering the quality of the hair and faces and how most current signature barbies are WAAAAY too overpriced for what they offer.

I can relate 😳 after a few to many drinks I tend get on eBay and Mercari and make offers on dolls 😂 last Sunday I woke up and had bought 2 Mh dolls and 2 My scene dolls I had made offers on the night before lol it happens to the best of us!

If money isn’t an object and you want them movie accurate, there’s the designer fairytale line! I don’t need them accurate since the Disney Classic dolls from the Disney Store are fairly accurate, high quality and nice looking representations of each character. The 17 inch dolls are more expensive and harder to get but they’re incredible.

Keep an eye on Mercari and eBay “newly listed” and you can get a feel for prices for each doll :) some sellers list the dolls for crazy prices and they never sell so don’t be fooled if you see a doll you want for a ridiculous price! Unless it’s a Frozen doll... Frozen collectors 🤦‍♀️

It snags and frays really easily no matter how high quality it is. So on dolls even just rubbing against a rhinestone or a hem pulling can ruin the entire dress. It’s just a terrible fabric to sew with and to have garments made from it
