Жыл бұрынGreat piece of gear. Very well made and engineered BUT it just didn't have a sound signature I would desire from tube gear. Not bad, just not tuby enough. I've heard hybrid tube gear that's warmer and smoother than this. I'm not sure what the goal was here.

Replace the 6N8P tube with a vintage Tung Sol 6SN7 black glass black plate tube from the early 1950’s. Very warm, deep, rich sound that you are looking for. The GT, GTA, and GTB versions all sound nice.

👉need high impedance dynamic driver headphones to realize the potential of this amp, Sennheiser 6oo's or 650's or drop 6XX are fantastic pairings with this very capable Output Tranformerless Amp (OTL)

You should always have headphones plugged in while keeping the amp on.

I bought a pack of those light blockers, use it on the power light for just about everything. I hate how they always use that same ultra bright blue. too bad that film wouldn't help with what bleeds into the inside of the case.

Totally the wrong headphones for a high impedance OTL tube amp, you need high impedance headphones, and change the crap Chinese tubes out to some nos tubes, night and day....
