This unit gives me ideas for strongman comps. I currently have the XT3 but those casters at the rear seems awesome!

I work as a firefighter. I was thinking about buying a sled like this as it is a functional work exercise (dragging heavy fire hose). I was looking at the Xebex XT3 plus, and I will probably buy that model over this one. Thanks for the review.

Not a bad idea. The XT3 gets some good feedback, and I think if they fix the wheel issues, you'd have a retrofit option anyway if you chose to go that route.

Great review, Joe! I basically have the same thoughts as you regarding the XT4 and after using it for a bit, I actually think the XT3+ v2 might actually be the best home gym sled. That is unless/until Xebex/GetRXd releases an XT4 that has locking wheels.

Very thorough review, Joe! Hopefully they can come out with swivel wheels that can also lock like a lot of casters have.

Yep, I think that's a solid solution. Lock straight for storage, sprints, etc. swivel for mobility.

@@GrayMatterLifting this also reminds me of those jogging strollers they make for kids with the big wheels in the back. They have some they have the swivel on the front and those size can get crazy too if you don’t have them locked in.

That video of you standing up the XT4 has convinced me that until there’s an ability to lock the wheels, I’m not going to convert my XT3+ lol. I do want the front weight pin and the rubber tires tho.

It's a cool idea, but needs refinement. This feels like they had the idea, were afraid someone else would beat them to market, so they pushed it out there to be first.

@@GrayMatterLifting yeah if you’ve ever pushed a heavy cart like in a warehouse with freight on it and the wheels start going crazy stuff not fun

@@carps_gym yep, worked 5 years in a grocery store, about 2 of that was stocking bread and beer. And then worked at Best Buy in the warehouse for a year. Slow and steady is much better than fast lol

Hi Joe, Thanks again for the XT4 review! We're thrilled you like it, especially since it's become your current favorite sled/top choice of sled! For the smoothest multi-directional movement, we recommend always attaching the harness from the back of the sled (2 wheel side). This provides better traction and minimizes tilting and leads the swivel better. You won't experience tilting as long as the harness is attached to back, 2-wheel side instead of the front.
