I have a feeling this boss fight was redesigned, and brought back in the third game with the Daxx Warship.

Looks like they used it for the boss of the Daxx Planet in Ratchet and Clank 3

I'm quite certain that this was a prototype for the ship boss in R&C 3 on planet Daxx, and most likely decided to just keep the latter one. Also when you uploading more vids Xem, I've been waiting months to see you again.

Sometimes I wonder how hard it would be for the community to create mods for R&C ps2 titles that include cut content like this and overall change the base game progression and gameplay. I would absolutely play one if it ever came out

I literally just played this game all week and it all makes sense now. Seems like a random spot for a hypo dood.

It's so cool to see cut content come to life, but my question is why did they cut it? A common answer among these kinds of things is time constraints because during the production of rac 1 they were already starting production of rac 2 and during rac 2 they were starting rac 3 and throughout all of that they had a certain date they wanted it to be out.

That planet was PURE cancer for me, I got so many Yetis chasing my ass around the map and I suffered enough, but I didn't know that the boss was cut in that planet.

i think he got relaced later on in the 3 with that flying warship that teleports. But would have been great to have both

I think it's for the best they left the boss out; They simply didn't have time to make such a distinct concept work. Would have been cool if they put a gold bolt or something on their and had a basic puzzle somewhere to collect it; That would have saved a lot of confusion.

Greatest ps2 game of all time. I 100% this a few months ago. I hadn’t played it since i was like 7. Such an incredible fucking game and its a prime example of how a game sequel can execute an experience better than the first. This game means so much to me.

I love this game so much but every time I play through it I always end up skipping this level. It's pretty easy if you have first person mode unlocked

Bruh you should try to get a whole community of R&C fans to make a server to play R&C online because I miss the fuck out of that. Why do they not do online anymore, it was soo good. Most fun I’ve had in an a multiplayer game in my entire life and I’m not kidding.
