I think part of the reason they are more tight lipped around Rob is because they don't want to offend him. If you notice a lot of Lucy and Renee moments in these commentaries they are joking around about the dialog or the scenes and for a writer that is like poking directly at them. I am positive their relationship with Rob is not as cold as some might suggest. I could be wrong but I think it just comes down to respecting a person's art. Just like he wouldn't make fun of their delivery.

Gabrielle did catch that chakram, she keeps it at the end of the series.

This was one of the best episodes ever in the series. And yeah Poseidon was on Xena before in the second season in two episodes "Ulysess" and "Lost Mariner". Rob doesn't remember his own episodes he made. And discord was on Xena before in that episode where she acts like nemesis to found out who killed her follower. And that episode where she's fighting Aphrodite.

2:55-3:05 the best part of this commentary. I love their chemistry. Lucy & Renee are so fun to watch 2gether.

Rob's wrong, though - we see Poseidon in series 2 in the Ulysses episode!

A lot of those actors did appear in other episodes playing other characters. Stephen Lovatt, who played Hades, also played a Greek Officer serving in the Roman Army in a Good Day. Joel Tolbeck, who played Deimos, also played Strife.

I felt that now that he is not sitting in the middle of them the convo flows a little better but they are more conservative when there around dude.LMAO when every bodys like who the fuck was that fiery dude.

Season 5 really went christian. Eli was jesus, Livia/Eve was st.paul, and Xena was the virgin mary.

I like the commentaries better WITHOUT Rob, Lucy and Renee seem more "stiff" and too "business" like.

You can tell Rob isn't that welcomed by Lucy and Ren. Their body language is evidence of that. Much better when they're on their own........(as so they think too!)

Its crazy hes the creator and they are the actors and they dont remember certain things .... Lucy says "oh now I remember this. i remember the big fight at the end" and asking if ELi is dead yet??
