@Tinyrocket If you liked 2, then you will like this. Its basically just like 2 as far as the general game feel, but there are no blades and equipments and weapons play out more similarly to a normal rpg The story in this game was more enjoyable for me, and overall it's my favorite game of all time, so I hope you get to enjoy it too when it comes out

Xenoblade 2 also has a better more convinient combat system, so they just have to put that here and this would ve perfect!

@@sethgob5591 dont get me wrong, I really liked xc2 combat system, and how you felt more engaged when fighting enemies. But at the same time, the combat in 2 was centered around setting up long strings of combos to do real damage, so a lot of the normal enemy fights dragged on for longer than I felt they needed to. It was necessary to have longer enemy fights to practice combos naturally before heading into a boss to try new strats out though. One of the main reasons I prefer xc1's combat was it was way quicker to burst enemies with combos or topple or team attacks etc. Definitely felt like simple was better in comparison, but that's just my opinion.

@@sladey21 Most "remasters" these day only increase the resolution and sometimes, the framerate too. The graphics featured in this trailer look significantly superior to the Wii/3DS versions. I'd say HD remake is more accurate.

paul slade remaster is in the vein of FFX or KH.5 remasters, they are just upscale graphics. This has entirely new models, new textures, new zones, and I’m sure more.

Yes the character models have been redone, but we cannot tell if the game has been rebuilt at this point. And personally, the environments look like the same models to me but with a much better native resolution and much better textures.

I got so emotionally invested in this game. I believe that there is not such thing as perfection. But Xenoblade was SO damn close.

Daniel Lord Playing as Shulk in Smash is what got me into Xenoblade. I liked him a lot as a fighter, and therefore I got curious about his franchise and that led me to buying XC2 (I thought Shulk was in that game.) XC2 is one of my favorite games of all time, and that made me want to play the first XC but I really didn’t want to have to pay $50 for a Wii game. Now that it’s coming to Switch...oh my gosh it’s a dream come true. So if it wasn’t for playing as him in Smash I would never have even heard of Xenoblade Chronicles. Anyway my point is that some people who like Shulk in Smash simply hadn’t heard of his franchise before, or didn’t have access to his game. But thankfully, that’s all about to change!!!

I mained Shulk for a while because his sword was cool. So cool that they made a game based off of him

eeveefan03 well I was 3-4 levels under and I was using Riki, Melia and Shulk and was able to do it in a few tries after unsuccessful trying for a few days with other party variations, but I was ocd about highest stats and art levels possible so I dunno

I wonder that too but Fiora and Shulk were abiding by XB2s combat and rules, Shulk and Fiora were blades. Unless Rex and Pyra can go by XB1's combat and rules than probably not.

They can get the weapons as rewards. You can have the aegis sword replace the monado and since that sword also has different forms, it would be pretty fitting. Imagine going into NG+ and the sword actually has custom animations during the big story bits.
