Xenon Bulb change on a 2013 mini cooper countryman.

This is the xenon bulb change out for the mini cooper S countryman. I didn't see this model on any videos so I figured I'd help save any one $300 by showing you how to do it yourself. The bulb can be found on rockauto for $50. Hope this helps you out.

THANK YOU. I'd looked at several other videos and my lights don't have the clips shown in the other videos. I'd removed the entire headlight assembly and was stuck. Your "twist" instruction saved me so much time on my second light. Done in about 5 minutes without removing anything but the back cover. Thanks again!

I have a 2011 MCS (LCI) hatchback with Xenons that was void of the retaining clips as well that other videos show.

Hello. Is it enough to actually disconnect the headlamp power cube before replacing the Xenon Bulb? is it also necessary to remove the battery clamp? I have a mini r56 S and a bi xenon burned one and in this video I see that there is also the same mounting system.

Hi Kyle - Where did you find the HID D1R w/ metal housing? Brand? All the ones i found have black plastic instead and does not seat as well as the metal ones. it still works, but doesn't feel "locked" any wont fully twist back to12 o'clock (more like 11:57 lol). any help appreciated.

Hey same issue here in 2024 did yours stay in? Just changes mine and I hope they don’t fall out of place during hard driving😭
