Just for the record we love Wales and it's people. The past is the past. Anyone wishing to post any derogatory comments towards the Welsh or English (it works both ways) will be blocked from the channel. My dad married a Welsh lady and was only allowed too because he was from the north not the south of England. I'm a Yorkshire man and now live in the south of Wales. The people, history and country side are very similar and have had similar struggles when the pits and steel works were closed down.

Oh come on. I don't believe that for a second. We've had mixed race people here for a few generations now. No one would care in the slightest about Welsh and English getting together. Most of us have English Irish and Scottish ancestors anyway.

Travelled all over the UK, with work, mostly, but for holidays too. Wales was the only place i experienced racism. Long memories, perchance ? Get over it , bhoys !!

I highly doubt that. This country is too woke and welcoming. The most racism experienced in Wales is by the natives from foreigners.

That's brilliant , I live not far from there in Llanhilleth . Did you visit Big Pit colliery in Blaenavon , that's very close to Clydach iron works ? Looking forward to seeing your next video 😄😄.

Disappointed....having inside info that you was away in glorious Wales, I got notification as I finished work yesterday! Sat down with drink (only water) and nibbles thinking I was going on a epic 7 day adventure, only to find a smidge of what's to come 😋 ohh well, still interesting and wetted the appetite for what's to come 😂

Great to watch U visiting places of history like this, always an adventure scounting around old places & trying to imagine what it was like back then...!??🤯 I also wonder if many of these places became disused because people were known to be much smaller in days of old, but as they grew bigger they couldn't fit through the small doorways & tunnels anymore...!???🤔🙄🤣

@@tonypaddler That’s a rather ignorant remark. Some people have an unhealthy affinity with the past, and bear grudges not unlike a vast amount of people who keep harping on about colonisation, and I am not talking about the Welsh. Most Welsh people welcome all nations, especially the English, Scottish and Irish. In my opinion you stepped in two feet first with those remarks, it works both ways you know.

👍👍👍 Xenophobia 😳 .. fortunately you did not run into any Bowmen 😏. Ja, old factory ruins and such always give me a feeling of sad nostalgia. Once living, vibrant entities .. now being systematically reclaimed by Nature. Very similar to some of the disused Mine Shaft Complexes and Workings (and other) that I had once worked on / in and later revisited, opening a floodgate of memories. Ashes to Ashes .. Dust to Dust .. 😔. Thanks for sharing .. Take care ..

Used to hate us? I'm an Englishman living in Wales and I'm at my wits end with the xenophobia now. I'm seriously considering selling up and leaving. I've lived here for 10 years and for some reason it's gotten progressively worse.

I think the welsh, although friendly to every one we meet, still have a deep feeling of remorse about th3 English trying to rule us. , I don’t think that feeling will ever leave the welsh people, we were looked down on, as being second class citizens for decades, to see our homes, our farms are little villages , taken away ,and often flooded to give welsh water to the English.. feelings don’t go away easy I guess.

We can understand the hatred of something that has happened by past generations, but to hate a nation based on what people of the past did is just as bad as the English saying they hate all Germans for the World war. Thankfully, knowing quite a few Welsh folk, that's really not the case. Thanks for the comment

I can fully confirm the Welsh absolutely detect the British With a passion I spent five years in Cardiff I was told on a daily basis to get back to England asap when My car was burnt out by locals ever the Welsh police told me in no certain terms to leave Wales and get back to England asap I did leave only for protect m daughter as she was a target for the locals stay away for your safety folks isn't worth the time or cash

Exactly. I have commented about the Welsh terrorist attacks on holiday homes owned by the English. The sweaty socks are the same aswell. I went to a match between airdrie and dunfermline in 90s,went for a pee at half time, a pleasant officer of the law🤣😂 asked me as I was mid flow where I was from, I told him bolton, and was put to the floor, handcuffed, and covered in piss, then kept in cells until court on the Monday, bailed to return in a few weeks time where I was found not guilty. Arseholes. Jockland is the same as taffland, absolutely beautiful, just spoiled by the population of natives. Bwfc
