They're not korean. They're 7 japanese girls. And its not kpop, it's xpop. Two of them are miced. One half japanese half australian (Harvey) and one half japanese half korean (Hinata eith blue hair).

They’re not K-pop. K is Korean. XG is a Japanese female group. They used a similar blueprint like the Koreans to form the group. The music is not the same genre. They sing in English and Kpop songs mainly in Korean.

The instrument you are hearing in the beginning is a traditional string instrument from Korea & China. In Korea its a heageum, in China its reffered to as a guqin. I believe BLACKPINK has also featured this instrument in their Pink Venom video if I'm not mistaken but i could be wrong on that. Thanks for reacting to XG!!❤❤❤❤
