Pretty good result. Can a patient like him with good donor and thick curly hair have legit expectarions for future NW6-7 restoration? Cause I dont think with 2500 grafts on temples only he could still have enough grafts for the whole head even with FUT. What do you say?

Matt am preparing to have a hair transplant in like 6 months. My hair was so thin but after starting to use biotin, collagen and hair oils, my hair thickened. It's my sides that are receding more. My crown was thin but now almost covered with thick hair. Do you recommend that I get off these hair loss preventives before the transplant? Am told that transplanted hair lasts longer than the one you try to keep since its from the back of the hair which is least affected by DHT. And if I stay on this kind of medication, do you think PRP treatment will be enough to help me keep that hair?

Hi Matt 5 Months ago I went for hair transplant. My doctor placed my hairline very low and shape of hairline is not great and she placed only doubles and triples in my hairline. What options I have to improve it.

Hey Matt, check 3:59 - I think he’s had a FUT because when his sides are short (around a 2 guard) you can see what appears to me a linear scar starting from side extending down to the occipital area. Given that his photo there was a 3 months, that scar would be even less visible now. So I think it’s a really good FUT with a good trichophytic closure.

Nice result with high density. But the corner need to be corrected. The connexion in the the corner is messed up. I guess it is an easy fix.

It always looks a bit wired the first 2 - 3 weeks after going through a long surgery. Give it 2 or at least 3 month, than you will see the real result better 👍

I had a transplant about 2 weeks ago and I noticed there are some doubles and triples in the hairline. i counted about 12 grafts like this. Do you think this will look pluggy ?

It might actually. But it depends on your hair type, hair style you'll choose and the transplanted hair density in the hairline. If these 12 doubles are not grouped together with some singles around them, then it might look pluggy, yeah

Hi Matt, been following your videos for long time. Brilliant videos. After extensive research I had my first hair transplant with Kaan Pekiner about 1 year 6 month ago, had 3300 grafts, hairline and mid section. Initially I was refused bec donner hair were looked poor and told to try fin for about year and try again. I liked the honest response. So after 10 month I tried again and dr Pekiner took me on. Results were good considering I was Norwood 5. Im thinking of having another transplant, in 2 minds shall I go for fut or fue.. The reason I'm considering fut is bec i probably have more coverege overall. Who would you recommend for fut surgery in Turkey or England? If I went for fue I definitely go with dr Kaan Pekiner, manuel extraction, survival of the grafts is a lot higher.

It's definitely a huge improvement. The hair line is a bit obvious though. Surely could have afforded the best doctors in the world. Crazy. Just goes to show that researching your doctor is key. 👍

I think it looks phenomenal and if I wasn't so familiar with HT's, I wouldn't be able to tell. I'd just assume he had a full head of hair.

Re donor area, my transplant doc said I had great hair, it was just on the wrong part of my head 🤣 ...had my hairline done, but I’m stuck in a bit of a no man’s land with the mid scalp. It’s just a bit too thick for a transplant, big too thin to look full...

When you say it’s too thick. Is it that transplanting there would risk the health of the current hair or what is the reason you can’t transplant there? If it’s pretty thick would not Minox + fibers help there?

Please analise transplants that simulate a juvenile hairline. Most people think It looks weird in adult guys, but I think It can look good If well done

Little tweaks to the hairline can always be done later. At the end of the day though, I prefer the hairline that boosts my confidence, makes me look younger and helps me get laid with better quality chicks. Thanks for the comment

It looks really bad. Grafts are almost implanted into his forehead muscles, looks extremely pluggy and lots of clear gaps. It wouldn't be a very difficult case though to repair him. Just sprinkle few single hair grafts around could go a long way.

I don’t think this is a easy fix imo. Like you said, the hairline is implanted close to the forehead muscles. He will need to implant several hundred grafts for lowering the hairline or removed the multi-hair grafts wait for it to heal and then implant the some singles at scaring issue.

@@thefolliclefight No shed first of all. 3 months noticeable gains in thickness and length. I’ve buzzed it again the other day to guard 6 & my hair is so much thicker mate. Slight brain fog & headaches but nothing major

Hair in the back of the head (in 99.9 percent of individuals) stays thick throughout a balding pattern. That is where the hair comes from in a transplant.

Consult your doctor. I don't know your medical history. I don't think there is a general rule to this. Some guys test it with 18 because it's considered to be the end of puberty - at least on paper. Some guys rather wait until 20-21.

Transplanted hair tends to look always darker - especially during the 1st year or so. After that, it looks more normal. I had it too. The transplanted hair also isn´t affected by miniaturization so once it is going to be placed on a balding top, it may appear unusually dark.

Pluggy looking hairline and design is OK. Average person probably won’t know, but people with HT can definitely tell. He obviously haven’t done his research.

Are you insane??? Pluggy looking hairline and design is NOT ok. The only good hairline transplant results are the ones that are undetectable by everyone, anything else is a failure in my opinion.

One thing that Matt never discusses is the use of anal hairs. These hairs are thick and have the potential to grow quite long. Please make a video discussing the pros and cons

Used to be true but I am not sure if it still applies in 2020. Can´t find Finasteride on this list anymore since 2018. www.wada-ama.org/sites/default/files/prohibited_list_2018_en.pdf

That‘s true, and even if they could there is no way that the football club would allow their players to take it. When footballers travel to hotels on training camps the club even brings their own chefs and own food. They don‘t even eat the regular hotel food. I know this because my cousin is a chef at a premier league club.
