The Chinese are a tough and resilient people with a rich history, and they have the knowledge and skill to make great advances in the coming decades if they are able to establish a few key things. In my opinion, they pose the greatest threat to potentially overtaking the US in the long term. The US needs to remain aware of this situation and be on top of things in the coming decades to ensure it stays ahead.
