Sir , pls answer me , i have a exam close , pls i need the answer for this , in my country i learnt a locating pin is used , and it is placed close to the oscillating pendulum at the lowest position, sir why is it placed at the lowest position ??? What should i write if such a question is asked , pls answer ... ( is it correct if i write to reduce the reaction time or time error ? )
@murugeshkinnal98
@murugeshkinnal98 Жыл бұрын
Yeah... you are right.. the lowest position of the pendulum is its equilibrium position, so counting of the oscillations will be more precise when the Bob crosses the pin position (equilibrium position)

Sir how to take readings from stop clock in seconds pls reply sir you're teaching isreally very awesome so i am asking pls reply quickly as soon as possible
@murugeshkinnal98
@murugeshkinnal98 2 жыл бұрын
First set the stop clock to zero reading and keep it ready to start at any moment with one hand. With the other hand just pull the pendulum bob through small distance...now start counting one,two three and release the Bob and stop clock at the third count simultaneously... Stop the clock after 10 complete oscillations & note t in seconds...

I can't understand why you took T² on Dependent Axis while Time is a independent quantity.
@murugeshkinnal98
@murugeshkinnal98 4 ай бұрын
Time period of oscillation depends on the length of the simple pendulum..T² is directly proportional to L or T is directly proportional to √L.
@neer_ace
@neer_ace 4 ай бұрын
@@murugeshkinnal98 is it means time period is dependent while length is independent?
@murugeshkinnal98
@murugeshkinnal98 4 ай бұрын
Yes... here in the expt please observe..we increase the length step by step & take corresponding time taken for 1 oscillation... you can observe that as you increase length time period also increases and vice versa
