In a significant shift in India's diplomatic stance, the country has begun to assert its position against China. This video explores recent events that suggest India is no longer willing to compromise on its sovereignty and territorial integrity. From Lai Ching-Te's congratulatory message to Prime Minister Modi to the US congressional delegation's visit to Dharamsala and meeting with the Dalai Lama, we examine the key developments that indicate India's newfound confidence in its international relations.
Join us as we discuss the implications of these events and how China might respond to India's newfound assertiveness. Our guests include Dr. Vijay Page, Founder Director of the Brahma Research Foundation, a Mumbai-based think tank, and Dr. Tilak Jha, Associate Professor at Bennett University and an expert on China. In the studio, we have Deepak Bhadana to provide insights into the complexities of India-China relations.
Tune in to understand the evolving dynamics of India's diplomacy under Modi 3.0 and how it may impact the country's relations with China and other nations.

@456inthemix vor 0 Sekunden I witness every time I visit India the extremely rapid living standard. The Tibetans in India now have a much better standard of living and enjoy freedom. India would have developed faster if they had not been under the old Soviet influence Socialism. Through globalization and free trade, the good sides of capitalism, c'est la vie. My second home Switzerland is a much better place, today freedom, security, democracy, social e and not a village plus social security. And if you go further, the majority of Eastern European countries are doing well. Your comment is typical communist claptrap and outdated. Shame on you for your ignorance.

I think all developed countries have evolved from their miseries and done well relatively.. so poverty is a reality in 3rd world countries incl india but it doesnt and should not stop them to stand for their right and not get bullied by the likes of china… in my opinion, china although having done great economically and technologically, they still havent found their feet as composed power.. whom they dont have fight and differences ; all except the ones they are bullying (like my way is the highway) , or they are friends with likes of Putin and the north korean nut . Am not defending west or india here but china comes as a non diplomatic aggressive country today when they can do so much by collaborating and not dictating terms. Its scary that many countries and large militant groups , crazy ones like iran proxies have suddenly woken up to claim what they think is their own!! Its maddening

@@touchfgrey You've really bought into the democracy bs, it never was about "freedom", but the Empire of Lies certainly know how to sell a fictitious fantasy. Do you truly believe the US looks upon India as an equal with mutual respect?, and that should India develop as China has done, it wouldn't have a cold war front to contend with, that the West would welcome India with open arms because it's a fellow democracy?, if so you're living a pipedream.

@@pikachus5m166 China knows better than you that it would be suicidal to make such an attempt. Many in India want a more tit-for-tat foreign policy with China by allowing Tibet to fight for their independence. India is doing a favor to China by keeping that lid of freedom on Tibetan administration!

INDIA Should have been PROACTIVE in the international arena long time ago. The Communist China has long been active in “Pakistan Occupied Kashmir” and INDIA had been quiet. Fortunately, for INDIA, the honourable INDIAN PRIME MINISTER SHREE NARENDRA MODIJI has played a very Pivotal Role in EXPRESSING INDIA’S NATIONAL AND SECURITY INTERESTS regarding Communist China. INDIA’S ACTIVE ROLE in Resurrection of illegal occupation by Communist Chinese in TIBET has been inspirational Master Stroke by INDIA’S PRIME MINISTER SHREE NARENDRA MODIJI. The ball is now in Communist China’s court .
