Hiking to the top of the West cable car portion of Mount Huashan near Xi'an and then back, and then made it to Terracotta Worriors in one day. Also, we made it to our plane flight that night.

Congrats to you and your family. A true milestone. The video is a small part of HuaShan - West Peak, and the cable cart was initiated there. We were there in the spring of 2018. The west peak cable cart was broken ( a week before we arrived, there were a full cart of people trapped in the air overnight!) and all the tourists were on the north peak cable cart. It took more than 4 hours to walk from north peak through center peak to east peak, south peak and then arrived in west peak. The scenery is amazing everywhere.

I have spent one night in huashan years ago. although the sunrise is not as expected due to the weather, it's still my favorite journey in my life, totally worth trying.

I chuckled a little when you said ‘we are at who-ah shan’ - that’s how you would pronounce phonetically in English. (It’s cute & endearing 🙂) But It’s pronounced as ‘Kwa Shan’. Looks like you were amongst the clouds in the cablecar. It’s absolutely breathtaking!

His pronunciation is nearly very right. “H” started, use” wh...” . And Kwa? What is that? Kua Shan? 垮山？？？

Tinja Zhang - I use ‘kwa’ for phonetic sound vs. ‘hua’ for ping yin. As most westerners may not have exposure to ping yin. (I hope i make sense - cause that’s how I remember the sound as Mandarin is not my 1st language.)

This is amazing!! I highly recommend to checkout the jade dragon mountain 玉龙雪山in Yunnan province. It is such an amazing and beautiful mountain in China. Thank you for sharing this wonderful sight.

Huashan is one of the top 5 famous mountains in China, dangerous or the hardness to climb is its uniqueness among the 5. Legends says in ancient time Kung Fu masters from all the clans fight for ranking once a year at the summit of Huashan.

I wonder whether there is a hotel on top. It's the best time to enjoy the mountain after most of visitors gone before the cable car close. You can hear the mountains.

there are hotels on top however not good and way to expensive. most people climb at night then wait for the sunrise.

40年前爬过华山，当时是从山下的火车站出来后，一路沿着羊肠小道爬到山顶。当时是沒有山门的，没有门票，也没电的。现在的山上山下的道路比40年前好的太多了，没法相比了。

怎么感觉他们登的地点不对呢？我记得最高的那座上上面有个碑的，上面刻着海拔多少米。可从视频里看他们确实上去后无路可走了。还有个很陡的环山小径视频里也没看到。我记得华山有5还是6座山的
