Xiaomi 14 ultra , 16gb 512gb is only $975 in China . Worth it if you buy in China But not overseas which costs about $1300

Are you completely blind? Xiaomi 14 ultra is a way better on photography, true colours, best low light conditions, better zoom. Except for iOS which is good , the Xiaomi is much better phone

Agreed. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra takes better raw photos, performs better in low light, and has superior zoom capabilities. These are objective facts that were also partly covered in the video. However, when it comes to selfie camera and regular video, the processing and colors, we prefer the iPhone. These aspects are more subjective and depend on personal taste. So it's possible our opinions diverge a bit in this category which is fine. 🙌

Agreed, price is a biggie! But, props to Xiaomi for aiming high and stepping up their game in the premium flagship market. It's still one of the strongest competitors to Apple and Samsung we've seen in years!

@@SpotlightToday That is true, I had the Xiaomi Mi 11 which mum is using now and that was a brilliant phone that was much better than the competition at the time and it was only $1000 AUD. (I know the Australian dollar has gone down in value but still).

I found the Chinese version online for $1500 AUD and the global version for $1999 AUD. Can I ask, where did you get $3000 aud from?

@@MTH1 the xiaomi aliexpress store had it for 3.2k. They have reduced the price to around 2.6k before custom import taxes. Where did you see the global version for 2k aud? Maybe you're looking at the CN version with global ROM?

Xiomi will destroy every brand with this phone except Sony that is a totally different story at all. When it will get in someone's hands who use filmic pro and is so dedicated to raw capture and entirely rely on religious post processing in adobe dialing every hue and tint to the person's taste and no preset. It's gonna be good. I am exited for MOTION CAM app. How it will perform in 14 ultra since it allows you to capture raw video.

Appreciate the input! We actually find 1080p to be a very good middle ground, offering adequate quality and optimal loading speed to meet most people's needs. However, we agree that higher quality would greatly benefit the camera and display sections. We'll definitely take your suggestion into consideration for our future uploads. 🙌

@@SpotlightToday 1080p looks like 720p and 1440p looks like 1080p in YT. That's why everyone working on 4k uploads. You cannot compare photo/video of flagships uploaded 1080p lol

I think the os on iphone is better. Xiaomi was always a bit ..... meh. So it's the same spec wise and camera wise with a tiny dent towards the iPhone regarding the camera. If i understood correctly it's all about the better os of the iPhone vs the better battery of the xiaomi, right? How about os smoothness and keeping background idle apps?

It's getting closer than ever, but iOS still maintains its edge.  The HyperOS has come a long way, and to be honest, it's more similar to iOS now than we could have imagined. It really feels like an Android version of iOS. It employs a storage refresh that effectively prevents performance degradation over prolonged usage. The speed and reliability have been improved, offering consistent system efficiency and smooth performance. It looks good and is performing exceptionally well overall!
