Xiaomi C300 smart camera setup and first test.
During the video I am connecting Cam to app, checing how it is working and going trough app and some settings.

It has a very nice speaker, you can use it to talk from your mobile device, but unortunately I did not find any way to use that speaker to play an alarm when the movement is detected. It's a shame it does not have that basic and quite useful function

Hello Sir. I bought a Xiaomi camera C300. The problem is the camera keeps recording all the time (continuous recording) making clips of 1minute each for 24 hours a day…I would like to change it so it recording only when movement/event happen. Can someone help me on this (the firmware is updarted - 5.1.6_1066). Thank you

this is maybe a silly question, but you can check the app when you're not home right? (i can be anywhere)

Yes, you can check the app from anywhere. Camera has to be connected to elextricity and to wi-fi. And of course your phone should have internet connection.

Choose c300 out of these tree. I see that there is also newer version c400 which could be even better.

Hi, after set up and connected, can i remove the usb? The usb is for charging? How frequently need to be charged? And is it a SD card inside? Thank you.😅

Hi! It cant work without USB, is needs electricity all the time. It is Micro SD, but SD is needed only if you want to record hystory.

Is the resolution good? Any review?

Resolution is very good if internet speed, connection is good. For example, for me the same room as router, everything is perfect. But when I change rooms, signal is weaker for intenet and the it starts lagging. Probably needs better router altough connection is at high speeds.
