Tbf.. my friend had the m365, and I had the pro 2. And my battery would last a lot longer while we was out riding. Mine went roughly 30 miles off one charge. Where my friends struggled around 15

I have a mankeel its good but makes a lot of rattling noises it is smooth on smooth land but when bumpy and not smooth rattles a lot it looks very similar aswell I also have the original xiaomi m365 very smooth aswell

@@Ioana. well... unfortunately for me. I’m in the U.K. and just last week I was stopped by the police, made aware I was breaking the law. For not having tax or insurance.. (even tho legally I can not obtain this documentation) They seized my scooter and have given me a fine an I also have to go to court! They didn’t give me the change of a warning and to only drive on private land. I must have been goin 6mph when they seen me as I was coming off a bicycle lane ready to cross the road! I was literally 60 feet away from my home. So my advice would be just hold off until they are legal in the U.K. If you are outside of the U.K.... then I would highly recommend the xiaomi pro 2 scooter! Some modifications you can quite easily add too if you want to give it a more comfortable ride. (E.g front suspension & a wider deck standing board so you can comfortably place feet for long journeys) - Berry boards - Hope that helps

@@antoncannon7279 That's my concern with my new Pure. I don't live in London and now police in my town are bored. Can't afford a fine or 6 points on my licence so it's still in the cupboard unused.

@@paulyflyer8154 I would recommend only using on private land as of now until the law changes... it’s not worth getting it taken off you.. as there is no way to obtain it back! And I paid £620 for mine so now I’m money down 😔

@@antoncannon7279 that's good advice. I think even if I did ride it I'd be constantly watching out for the feds so it wouldn't be much fun. Trouble is by the time they make it legal my scooter will be the equivalent of a Sinclair C5 🙄

Technically they are illegal to ride anywhere other than private property but no one enforces the rule, of you live in a big city you will see people using them all the time.

@@limb0xz someone in the comments got their scooter taken away from them by the cops. And hasn't gotten it back so I'm not sure if thats true.

It lasts up to 28 miles maximum so u should be good to go on a full charge because u will only be doing 15 miles in total👍🏻

Do it! You’ll be fine. However, you might want to get one that’s waterproof if you’re going to use it all the time. Consider the Pure Electric ones.

Xiaomi is a more established brand with plenty of accessories and spare parts. They will also have a greater resale value than the pure. You can also hack the Xiaomi easily and get more usable power.

I wouldn't update any firmware if you have already hacked it as it will replace all the changes you've made.

if you are from the uk buy it off of halfords, if you want to get rid of the 'mi.com' sticker just cover it with lack spray paint, it worked well for me

Prices for ebikes are way higher.. + the estep is much more portable

if u go over square tiles, at higher speed you can feel them bumpy, on good asphalt is much smoother. It's nothing major, you can still drive over tiles. For road patches that have slight edges, it's best to slow dow before them, seems higher speed makes the shock much higher. So it is more sensitive to bumps than a bike, you just need to be more careful, avoid them or slow down before them.

Police don’t really do much

My thoughts are that if you're responsible when riding then I think the police will have much better things to do rather than stop you. Keep off paths, wear a helmet and ride with consideration for others and you should be fine. However, until the law changes it's always a risk.

@@emls6441 How's it mean? On the box says max weight is 100kg and scooter itself weights 14kg, the closer you are to the limit the more the motor is taxed. Lose weight or buy those bigger 17-21kg scooters that support upto 120kg
