No international band support though while flagship models and even some upper midrangers from Oppo, Oneplus, Huawei and Honor have. Maybe not so important with current travel restrictions but for business people and others who normally travel a lot it's a real downside. Also relatively heavy but otherwise a very good phone

Unfortunately they made a step back with the speakers. The top speaker is smaller than the ones on the mi 10 and the Mi 10 pro. The difference is noticeable. Don't know why they made this decision

That was a deal breaker for me too. I can't imagine using anything less than the Mi 10 Pros stereo setup. Makes gaming and media so much better!!! Otherwise i would have actually upgraded! Can't wait for the Mi 11!!!

Hopefully they will begin including North American frequencies soon. Love my Mi Band 4 and Airdots. Sadly had to give up my Mi Max 3 because of missing calls.

Hi this seems to be a great phone and I am thinking about buying it but need to know 1, Does it have the AI Scene recongnition in the camera app like Huawei where it can detect translation and also point at what your eating and tell you how many calories it has? 2, In the gallery app I see it looks like the Huawei one but does it have the (i) button when you open a picture to tell you camera info like histogram? At 1:28 you say that the ultra has the same stereo speakers then the Pro, but that's not true. The Pro has two grills, the ultra uses the ear piece for the stereo.

As someone who doesn't care a lot about cameras, I see no reason to buy this one instead of the regular mi 10 (except for the 120hz display, but thats not enough to justify the price difference). The mi 10 has better battery life, better (dual) speakers, it's significantly lighter to hold - which makes it more comfortable, same processor, same OS, etc. The price difference is huge and even so the mi 10 still has some superior aspects. Xiaomi should've maintained the same speaker system as the mi 10 pro on the ultra, should've put gorilla glass 6 on the screen, instead of gorilla glass 5, and should've added a 6.9 inch display instead of 6.67. Then the difference would be significant.

Yes, official specs said the 48MP camera is 5x optical zoom, and equivalent 10x optical zoom, maximum 120x digital zoom.

@@GizmoChinaTube Samsung S20 Ultra has a 4x Optical zoom and a high resolution 48MP periscope camera, so can we say it has an equivalent of 8-10x optical zoom?. But even that high resolution periscope, it can't beat the P40 Pro in terms of zoom which actually only has slightly higher dedicated 5x periscope camera but very lowly 12MP resolution. So dont say 10x equivalent optical zoom when it can't actually do a good 10x optical, instead, what you may be trying to say is 10x hybrid zoom, which is comparable to an optical zoom, but with lesser image degredation unlike cameras with actual dedicated 10x optical lenses.

How can I buy this phone if I'm in Europe? Any ideas guys? I found it on t-mall or something like that, Xiaomi's taobao official store. But I don't know any chinese and don't understand exactly how to import it. I know there is a website called giztop but they over-charge a little bit and I'm not sure if they are legit 100%.

can buy on aliexpress, Trading Shenzen or wanda mobile. But be aware it is missing band 20 (800) many european networks use this band for 4G especially in less populated areas.

This is the best from xiaomi, i'd rather pick mi 10 ultra than SS galaxy note 20 ultra, IF mi10 ultra had a new better design in materials & shape.. It's still being mi10pro, which i myself not liking it even when holding the phone, Hope mi11 pro is completely new design Lol

They are different style phones, Mi 10 Ultra has powerful specs and the best cameras, and Red Magic 5S probably has a better gaming experience.
