Time to take the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra out for a Real World Camera Test! I can finally go places again, so I took my family and a friend to the Carlsbad Flower Fields to use the high powered Samsung GN2 main sensor (and its ultrawide and 5x optical zoom backups) for capturing the incredibly colorful scenes. I ultimately find that the Mi 11 Ultra provides a pretty amazing experience for especially photography, with plenty of versatility for further creativity including in video.

That telemacro camera with 5x optical zoom literally scares me how good it is! What's also great is the natural depth of field in both pics and videos. The greatest thing about this device is that what I mentioned before is just tip of the iceberg. It's just... perfect imo. 1UP!

Only thing I heard battery drains pretty quick probably when gaming etc. plus no expandable memory, maybe in the Mi 12 they can fix this

@@insistentmind498 the battery drain would be an issue but the expandable memory I just weird to me. I've never hard an expandable memory card on any phone I've owned. And having 128gb is more than enough for me. I usually have at least 10 games and about a total of 150 apps. So I have never had a need to have more than 128gb. I just find it weird and annoying that people always complain about expandable memory. What in the hell are people putting in their phones??

@@DaBrown101 Lol true that you can download as many apps, usually files if they use them etc. or photos so if they go in alot of places or work etc. they may want Expand. memory for it. usually with games the phones do pretty good, suppose 128Gb is ok for you most who would need more Gb would need that extra memory.

@@WaLtZ1973 i think josh can only understands tagalog bit cannot speak tagalog as he gew up in the US and he rately visit philippines. I never heard him talk in tagalog with Isa. Thay’s how i observe josh background. I hope im wrong. Galing kung marunong din syang magragalog. A feedback why his parents don’t talk in tagalog. Its a pity coz even if josh, michael josh, isa is with them, i never heard them talking in tagalog

1UP real word camera test that you have done so great so far. i love how you had this camera test with your parents. very Filipino ❤️ This xiaomi phone is by far what i am waiting for. perfect for photography and video shooting. of course the inclusion of google play access is a plus as i am owning one which does not support it. The display is what i am excited about as i always wanted to watch your content on hd and other movies but i cant do to poor resolution on my phone right now. Samsung is an option but too expensive for me. I was waiting for your review on this since the launch but i think there was some delay with the delivery of this device to your location and so i waited. thanks for this review. looking forward to having one like this. keep safe and to your parents speaking in tagalog in the background. so cute ❤️❤️

Thanks for giving us this review! I actually went to two of the Mi stores in my city but unfortunately, they don't have Mi 11 Ultra. They have Mi 11 but for pre-order. I think it's worth the wait so I'm on for the waiting game! 1UP!

I always felt like you were a filipino since I first saw you on Android Authority back in the days when you reviewed Xperia phones because that's what I was planning to get at that time, now things are clear now because when your parents spoke in our native language and that's something to be proud of and that's always a 1UP for me. :)

So many "new" camera systems on smartphones feel like they're just trying to 1UP other phones on the market (or just the previous iteration). Sometimes, literally, by adding one more camera even if it is a 2 MP macro. This system feels like a true upgrade. The zoom was pretty impressive to me in this video, and it showed one of the best times to use it: live performances. Now we just need to get the state of the world in a position where we can go to more live performances.

Xiaomi really did it, I love how they go 1UP each time or maybe sometimes more. Love the idea of the small screen to see if you point the camera correctly. Personally I don't think it needs to be much bigger, just enough to check the position but oh well. Love the idea of this phone!
