6:09: Bro! Edge detection is the separation of subject from the background! So you must say it has good edge detection instead of no edge detection in all of your videos! No edge detection means full image is blurry and weird looking, so it's wrong!

At 15:31 Nick mentioned that the temperature is 44.6 degrees celsius with "Normal Usage"... This is absolutely shocking. How can a phone be this hot with normal Usage? At it went up to around 57 degrees celsius after Nick ran the benchmark. This is atrocious and very concerning. A phone should not be at 44 degrees with normal use. Definitely a deal breaker. We'll see how much the software update fixes this dangerous heat

@@shrees7560 This is why I'm scared to venture out from Samsung. OP 8 pro was buggy af with display issues, then I got Z Fold 2 and the software on Samsung for me was just amazing and reliable. I've never had such a good phone before. The experience is just so refined. How can this phone hit 55c? I really wouldn't bet on software updates massively improving the cameras. If this is how they wanna treat their highest of highest end phone, it just stands to show how much Xiaomi cares.

@@maxislate5741 then it's worse for business, it's extremely top heavy so it's less ergonomic, you get slower and less software support and the software is worse overall. It also thermal throttles like crazy, that's clearly worse for business. Battery life is worse too lmao

Hey nick, could you turn off wifi, bluetooth and etc when doing a charge test. Maybe that's why it doesn't match the advertised charging speed because you have wifi on when charging. Just a suggestion. Thanks. Nice review btw.

Of course it charges faster because the mobile signal may drain the battery a little. But I would like to know the battery tests of phones while wifi, bluetooth, and etc are turned off.

Whoa thanks man. Thanks for hearing out your subscribers. Btw Snapdragon 888 sucks I think I'll wait for the mi 12 ultra. 44 degree to 55 degree what's up with that phase cooling system. I saw somewhere even when using camera it heats up. I'm pretty sure this phone will heat up in regular usage over time as well.

Soft are updates fix almost all things unless it's definitely a hardware issue. Have the mi 10 ultra now and this thing is still a beast. But honestly we've reached the time of smart phones where they basically are all the same at the top end with their own twist on things

@@OverfluxAerospace if you query any fast charging with any manufacturer they will tell you it does not damage your battery but thats a load of bull. It does I can tell you and I have previously worked in the industry so iam not just talking out my arse. some manufactures like Samsung provide the option to deactivate fast charge, but OnePlus dont and iam pretty sure Xiamoi dont either. what with no user replaceable batteries these days and forever increasing fast charging rates....iam starting to think its being done deliberately to shorten the life of your device, so that you will have to upgrade sooner.

Hmm, I expected the camera to be much more amazing esp. in low light photos and videos, considering the 1/1.12" sensor size. # Videos esp. look kind of blurry/jittery, the stabilization could be much better. # The colors/contrast often look slightly dull and washed out in photos and videos. # Dynamic range could be better too, esp. in handling bright lights/neon signs etc. at night. I still don't get it. If the iPhone 12 has a sensor that is 1/2.55" (so does the pixel 5), then this one with a 1/1.12" sensor is 5 times bigger. So why do I not see 5X better low light performance? Or atleast 2-3x better? It is just on par somewhat, give and take. The snapdragon 888 on paper can do whatever A14 is doing? What is the limitation?! It does not look to be as consistent as the iPhone and Pixels, I don't know, I expected a LOT more. This bugs me a lot, not just with this Mi11U but also with Samsung's 108mp and those large IMX sensors that many of the latest phones are using. How the hell can they not be more than 2x-3x better than the pixels and iphones in low light ability and video? It defeats physics itself.

O S21 Ultra sofre uma atualização há 2 dias e melhorou muito a questão do aquecimento, fora as cameras que ficaram mais tops e os tons mais naturais. Vale a pena fazer um review com ele após atualiza-lo.
