Hello there🙂 nope, I will turn it off when fully charged. My theory is that it might drain the batt life, as the sit idol, the batt will drain a little, when the dock detects batt drain, it starts to charge again till full. This stop, charge, stop, charge action might cause the batt to shorten life span IMO. Also might not be so economical for my electric bill 🙂

Dont worry, it wont reset the other floors as long as you saved the map you want. You can just let it free roam the unsaved maps. Unfortunately this one only supports 1 map saving. Need to get the higher specs model for multi room map saving options

You can just lift it up and mop as a separate area if the depth of the floor is high. If the floor depth is not high, then just try and see whether the robot can move up by itself or not.

Hello Raffy, Sure you can, But you need to manually remove the mop pad for those areas. And reattach the mop pad for the areas you want mopped.

Hello~ It does not require wifi to clean. But if not connected to the wifi via the app, you can't use alot of features like the suction strength settings, Mapping, boder and mop warer level

Usually they will return to the spots they missed after charging. So far mine stops by it self after every area is covered.

Hello there! Yes it supports map saving on all 3 robots that I have bought, but only saves 1 layout. That is odd, by right it should support map saving as seen @11:16 in this video. Maybe it is an issue with the firm ware update.

Yea, surely, I do that all the time haha. But with out the app, there are alot of features you cant use like suction strength, mop water level, ect

It does not move randomly. It has a specific map pattern that it typically follows a zig zag pattern in the middle and goes around the perimeter of the house after that. In small rooms I notice it tends to go over the same place twice

Sometimes, it moves around a bit cleaning some area twice, but no big deal. Compared to my Ecovacs Deebot 920 which I bought 2x the price, I would choose Xiaomi Mijia 1c any time any day. You should see my Deebot 920 which sometimes makes my blood boil LOLLLL. Mijia 1c is so much more predictable and stable. The Ecovacs app is a junk, very unstable, often fails to update the map status while cleaning. Sometimes on electricity blackout, it could move in the dark getting confused to find its dock (Mijia 1c never does this). Sometimes it cleans 1/2 of the house and return to the port "cleaning complete", and some other time it cleans several rooms twice. It got stuck on a carpet (Mijia 1c always go up the carpet successfully). When I move the robot and placed just several meters away from its original location, it got very confused and often fails to identify the same floor & starts cleaning cycle from the beginning. If I move it several meters away & ask it to return to port, it will go around the house for 10 min before it finds its port. Mijia 1c is so much faster identifying new location & return to port in just 1-2 min. I bought Ecovacs 920 2 weeks before Mijia 1c, and my sister bought Ecovacs T8 at 3x the price of Mijia 1c (I recommended it over Xiaomi 😛). My sister said sometimes it stops cleaning in the middle of the room...doing nothing. LOLLL The Ecovacs apps is always updated frequently, but the update breaks things even more. (Look at the very low rating of this app in Playstore...only 1.5 stars). My sister blamed me because I said Ecovacs was better than Mijia 1c. She bought 2 units of T8, each for 1floor. At the time, I only drew my own conclusion from many youtube reviews and spec sheet, and that is the reason why I bought Deebot 920 instead of Mijia 1c at the beginning. T8 with 5200mah battery and Deebot 920 with 3200mah can map 2 floors while Mijia 1c can only do 1 map with 2400mah. Despite my 920 can do multi-floor, I found it annoying to move it manually to the 2nd floor, and that is why I decide to buy Mijia 1c this time. And....surprise, surprise, I love my Mijia 1c a lot better than Deebot 920 which is 2x the price. It is so much more reliable. Ohh well....if oly I knew, I could buy 2 units of Mijia 1c with the money I spent on Deebot 920. Damn, damn, damn. 😂 I told my sister about my new Mijia 1c, and she got pissed LOLL . She said "You recommended me Ecovacs over Mijia 1c, and you even told me to buy the more expensive T8 instead of 920, and now you said Mijia 1c is better at a third of the price ????" 😂 Btw, my sister just asked me to buy her 2 units of Mijia 1c just several days ago . LOLL I bought for her already and she told me the package arrived yesterday, but she hasn't got the time to try it. I hope she likes Mijia this time, or she will skin me alive. LOLL

I had come issues with mine tooo on a 6" drop, but after turning the lights on in the room with the 6" drop, it stop falling, i think this is due to the 1C using an optical sensor, the area needs to be well lit. You can see how to save a map at 11:09 in this video. cheers~

yea haha i think it's normal, they are very thrifty with the consumption. i always put mine on 'High' water level setting. even with that, it can't finish the water in the tank, my house is about 1700sqft.

Nope, it will mop on anything, it can even climb on thick carpets 🙂 you'll have to manually remove the mop pad if you dont want your carpets to get mopped.

I think you can, but Unfortunately it wont work well with out light. And probably will ask you to clean it optical sensor haha.

@@IsaacCheck Thank you for replying. I returned it to the store and they said , perhaps the speaker cable was not soldered correctly or speaker malfunction inside somehow during shipping. Since I just bought it for a week, they promised to fix it. I got it back in 4 days, and the robot now has voice. :0

Perhaps you got the chinese version insgead of global international . In my case, the seller sells both version and the buyer can decide which one they want. The global is only a few dollar more expensive.
