XIAOMI REDMI DEAD | Only Notification light blinks | Solved.

As i visited a friend's place he told me that his redmi phone was not powering ON and when he tries to switch it ON or connect the charger only the notification light starts breathing( blinking dim to bright) so i tried to solve the problem by disassembling the phone using a army knife as i was not having any tools with me, the steps i tried were successful and solved his problem.

It works for me. In my case, I let the battery drained and when I charge it, it wasnt turning on. I just remove the connection of the battery to the motherboard, turn it on and its good now. This is the first ever Indian tutorial that is helpful. You got a new sub!

@@sangeetazhade2414 Hi, I did the same thing as Mark Kent and it worked!... Here are step-by-step..... First disconnect the battery connector (see 2:24).... then plug in the charging cable into the phone to charge (see 2:32) ...... and THEN reconnect the battery connector (see 2:40) and then it should see some signs, press power on, and it will turn on.

Also worked for Redmi 8 Battery Flashes on startup! Thanks a lot. Redmi 8 also has this flat, wide band that leads from the usb slot to the upper part of the phone. I re-connected that too in this case.

i faced the same problem today the phone was on the charger with 0% but i removed the charger to then put it again i found the charging light keeps blinking so i left the phone on charge for 15 minutes then the red light stopped blinking and now its charging :D this problem occurs due to dead battery don't worry just let the phone charge and everything will be ok

Just disconnect the battery terminal plugin the charger connects the battery again and leave it charging for a while that's it nothing special hope it works. 👍👍

you need to use a hair dryer, make the cover hot, so the glue gets warm and you can open it up easily. But don't do it to often

No need for blow dryer or heat gun . Get a tin Pepsi,Coke or Dr pepper cut a square from the tin itself and run it between the back cover n it will start to lift it up a bit then use other tools to pry slowly.

I have this Redmi 4x and suddenly it stops working. Can't turn on. It stucks on logo whenever charged. So I change to a new battery, still the same. I followed some other youtube videos, doesn't help. Bought another battery but at this time, given up. So I just left the phone and that second new battery for over a year. Today I just feel like searching on youtube again and I found your video. So at random, I just started on that phone again. Put on the second new battery, did like what you said. And there, it works fine! Sir, you are the best and I hope you have a great life.

I had the same problem with mi Redmi 6A. I pushed volume up and volume down buttons together, and, at the same time, tried to power on the phone (as if I wanted to boot into Recovery Mode). Although it didn't boot up, because the battery was almost depleted, it did start charging normally. I turned on the device when battery charge hit 5% and am using it without further problems, battery is at 10% now. Hope it helps!

Wow it just happened to me and I found this video and I was already trying to open a phone with my nails without success.. Boy I'm glad I scrolled through the comments and found yours. It worked and now the phone (Redmi Note 5) seems to be charging. I think it could use a new battery anyways, but thank you sir for saving my day :D

my one says its full charge and when i turn it on it goes to my lock screen and then turns straight of ... about a week ago my water bottle leaked and got all over it and i put it in rice and it worked for about 5 days then it started over heating and just last night it started flashing and it would only happen as far as the lock screen. help??

I washed my phone lightly with water with my hand and the touching of buttons didn't correctly go to the right place on the lcd touchscreen but i could type. later though it went off and now only white screen and can see the clock. can't even hold the button to turn off as it seems to restart the white and dull white lcd backlight.

I can confirm that good old whacking is a viable solution. I have a redmi 5 plus. It reached 0% battery and phone died in my hands. No other problems before, no battery drains, did not fall or anything. Afterwards, I plugged it in a socket and after an hour of charging (supposedly), it would not turn on. Not with the power button, nor with power+volume up nor with power+volume down. After hours of charging, pluggin it on the pc (not recognized at all), taking it of the charger and back again and trying all combinations of power up holding the buttons for minutes at a time, nothing was happening. I started lookin' into new phones. Then I tried again, slapped it 2-3 times and immediately without even pressing a button the Mi logo appeared. After the logo, the battery screen appeared showing 8% battery (it was plugged in for hours)!! I left it a few minutes to charge but it was not showing any signs of change, battery was still 8%. I decided to boot, it did and left it to charge some more, now it's gone to 25% battery and it is still charging!

@@AkillizB Fuck, man, this night I am doing the exact thing, pushed all the buttons, tried all chargers, looked for a new one on Aliexpress, and I see your comment. I think OK, what am I loosing by smacking this piece of... hardware I'LL GIVE YOU SOME TOUGH LOVE, and it boots. I dunno man, what is this shit, wtf, thanks a lot, I think it works now. Anyway, I'm ordering a new battery and back side opener for it, I will need it, I guess, if it happens again. Hi from Russia and have a nice day.

Brother u save me bcoz i am a redmi note 5 user and i face this same problem bcoz at full night charge and now lockdown in my city any xiaomi service center is not open and my life is depends on my phone u are a god in my life again
