I don't know why everyone's calling her dumb ? Ok, she thought about her father's murder in the most logical way, literally every single evidence was against him. Trusting someone is up to your HEART, not your BRAIN. The pill made her completely emotionless. She gave her verdict just like how a judge would, impartially and emotionlessly. It wasn't her fault.

i know right... she was always manipulated from the start. I know her mother wanted to protect her by giving her the pill but if you think about it, the manipulation started from there.... and then she got locked inside the water mirror by the flower chief... let's just say, everyone else made her decisions for her indirectly or directly.

Authavia Dos Santos AKA dinine she wasn’t dumb. Sui He set Phoenix up then Run Yu was manipulated her into this and also fixed her Yun Dan pill so she can’t feel love anymore. It wasn’t really her fault. She later paid big price for resurrecting Phoenix.

@@AnonymouZS because Run Yu made the fake dream of reality to manipulating her, because Xu Feng told Jin Mi that he was involved in it because he thought his mother killed them(although his mother didn’t kill them by her own hands but she transferred all her cultivation to Sui He and told Sui He to kill them) and because Sui He framed Xu Feng by used Xu Feng appearance to kill them. When all that evidences against Xu Feng added to her grief of loosing parents well it’s human nature when someone get mad enough to loose temper he or she can make big mistake or do any crazy thing.

That’s stupid. Everything was pitted against Jinmi in the first place; she was completely manipulated to believe what she saw. All the evidence was planted there, in fact, she’d actually be stupid to not trust it. Besides, she had the Yun elixir to prevent her from feeling love.

Every one despise Empress. But I am extremely impressed by her acting. It was true to the core. Even here she nailed it. Repented bu arrogant lady. If there isa best actor or actress here it should be her. Al the pretty faces contributed to the drama. But she nailed it with wide range of emotions and strong stage presence. Epitome of method acting....

Remember that scene where Moon immortal (Match Maker) went off on Jin Mi, staying that no matter what happened, his heart assured him that Phoenix would never kill her parents? Her heart was blocked by her stupid mother (via the Yun Elixer), hence why her judgment of him lacked heart and only considered the presented facts to conclude her logic.

Yes I was also disappointed in her. Even if she couldn't think with her heart, she should have thought more about it with her head. It's ILLOGICAL for Phoenix to kill her parents based on his character. They claimed the motive Phoenix killed her parents because they refused to cancel her engagement with First Prince. But how can that be a motive when their deaths doesn't mean the engagement will be cancelled anyway. He has always been respectful to her parents, never even had an argument with them. Also, it doesn't make sense for him to kill her parents when he's trying to be together with her and make her happy. She didn't believe him when he said the evidence pointing to him as the murderer are way too obvious and he's being framed. Phoenix gains nothing from killing her parents, and would lose her who meant everything to him from doing so. Even if she didn't understand what love is, Phoenix was one of her closest friends whom she has spent so much time with for hundreds of years. People have said to her she should know what kind of person he is based on their history. So yes, I totally agree she made a very dumb decision killing someone who has always protected her and always done right by her. So if she's not dumb then she's deadly cruel to execute her closest friend like that which is even worse for her character.

Everyone’s hating on her. She had so much reason to believe he’s the killer, what with the proof: he can use glass fire AND she saw a blue reality dream with her own eyes. Plus, the Yun elixir was preventing her from realizing she loved Xufeng, so everything she did was based on sorrow and evidence. People say “oh, she should’ve realized he has no reason to kill her parents”, and that’s true, but again, what’s perceived as the truth outweighs any “motive”. Not to mention, she was overcome with sorrow and couldn’t think straight, what with the chaos at the wedding and how recent the murders were. Oh and additionally, it was her against 3 masterminds of manipulation. How would you expect someone as young and naive as her to compete against such powerful beings?

Noooo. Fox immortal once mentioned that every immortal has a weak spot and every immortal hides it so that no one can kill them but Xu feng told jinmi his weakness there’s a term for it but I forgot. Jinmi stabbed Xu feng there causing him to die plus that weapon of Jinmi is made by her father. That’s why Xu feng was killed

Jin mi gave Xu Feng a strand of her hair and he said he would put it in his Internal Dan, which is the weakest part of an immortal.
