8 Years ago.... i remember listening to these beats at university like it was yesterday.

She is the innocent smiling ghost child who watches people walking by cheerfully while unaware of her own self not being alive. The cat always comes by to keep her company, and she only appears on wintery nights to say hello to by passers who are unaware of who she is. This arch thus become known as "Gate of Winter Smiles" to the townsfolk.

Nearly seven years still can’t believe it.

This song feels like floating in magic, plus the image of the little girl with lots of blue sounds just like the song. Had it been another color, I like to think the effect wouldn't have been the same. Love it!

Listened to this in high school back in 2014. This and many other songs xKito posted helped get me through some really hard times.

Haha, I'm locked out of my house right now, and this started playing (I have this in my iTunes shuffle list) while it began raining. I no longer am bothered by the fact that I am locked out of my own house.

what i would give to go back to the first time i heard this... so much time has passed, good and bad memories alike. it warms my heart seeing people comment on these old xKito uploads talking about the nostalgia it gives them. ❤️

I didn't like this song that much when it came out. Now that all I have left is nostalgia for the good times I was listening to mama Kito's uploads daily, coming back to this from time to time feels like a relief.

wow... that rythem... that feeling... the chills i get when that rythem takes over from 2:50 till 4:15 oh especially at 3:47 oh my god... that feeling! how come no one else ever feels the music like i do?! it feels amazing to have that music rush over me and make me feel. oh its so beautiful. this is STILL my favorite song to listen to at any time of day. oh i love to dance with it to sway to the feeling....

Wow.... this song man. I remember how much I replayed it when I was younger. I think somehow when I was little and I didn't like my parents jazz, I tried to listen to this as a way to connect to them on my own. I didn't like jazz, but I liked this, and it gave me the same feelings they said that jazz gave them. A kinda stupid reason to like it so much, but I think it was much needed escapism at that time in my life.

Someone share me more chillstep music like that pls. It's so amazing !

The picture and the girl really reminds me of Alice from "Alice In Wonderland". Yey. I've just thought of a short story to go with this. She walked across the beam quietly, distant footsteps coming from everywhere else but her. Below, were crowds and buskers in the large town, winter 'flakes blurring view. Of course, everyone knew of the endless winter. The girl got to the other side, looking out from a random balcony. The cat near her perched on the beam, also looking out. The girl's name was "White-Rose Winter" - or at least that was what she was called. The beam townspeople saw her on was called "The Rose Arch". In a lonely house somewhere near the town of Winter-Thorn, a woman was waiting for her child. The woman's child had been missing for a year . . . and all the woman did was type on her typewriter, creating fantasies for the child once she returned home. The woman could no longer tell if her child was alive or dead - only missing. The townspeople regularly ask the child to come down from the rooftops. The girl either doesn't say anything and keeps skipping along the icy roofs, or replies with, "Have you seen her . . . have you seen my mother? She said she'd wait for me outside the gate but she didn't come . ." Newcomers to the town of Winter-Thorn often ask the townsfolk of the lore. Any thoughts on this? ^^

I haven't had a song really hit me in a while until I heard this... I'm going through a really rough patch in life and I'm just at this point where I'm just so confused. When I heard this song I just closed my eyes and felt the beat. It was so comforting and I really felt it. It was like someone was telliung me everything will be ok.

First listening to this song in highschool was cool, now I"m an E-5 in the USAF. The flow of time is crazy in where we end up and what kind of memories we have...
