Oh yeah, I like how in MK11 you can punish pokes and you can up-block jump attacks and also there is little animation before fatal blow, so you can punish player if he presses it while it unsafe.

It’s still not that good of a game overall. Mkx and mk9 are both superior in most fans opinions including mine.

Fun > superiority 😊 which explains why MK1 is a struggling dumpster fire only running off of dlcs 😂😂 if people would just keep their mouths shut about their "totally broken duos" the game wouldn't be getting nerfed every 2 days

It was supposed to. It just that MK11 happen during Covid and WB merging issue that prevent this game from further support. Heck just look at MK1, seriously felt rush and many graphical element was straight up rip from MK11. I fully believe if nothing happen and all work according to plan - MK11 will have more content, and current game now will be Injustice 3 rather than MK1.

the past days i revisted it and it's crazy how bad it was for me, i enjoy mk1's gameplay much more. with upcoming updates and all characters available it will definitely be superior for me

This is where MK1 lacks is FUNDAMENTALS, 11 actually took patience and not using kameos to make every string safe. Only thing that sucked in 11 was the breakaway

Mk11 carried me through the worst years of my life lol some trash gameplay mechanics but I love it especially geras and kollector.

@@uselessman4066 Oh okay. I thought breakaways and defensive bars were a good addition/innovation to get away on occasions from continuous, mindless combos and neutralize the game. Not sure why others hate it. Regarding variations, I understand the frustration, but now we can create custom variations with the desired abilities.

Welcome to the nrs community. It's why I refuse to associate with players from the community. I didnt like mk1. Even though I was winning most of my matches I ended up getting annoyed with how the game plays and the clear greed of the company. But doesn't mean I'm right to go after people who like the game.

You nailed it. I'm laughing at all the positive comments about this game but in its prime, the majority of comments were trashing it

mk1 plays smoother is my thing, I use to play injustice back in the day, but I was a kid having fun, as I got older wanting to play vs nd rank, learning the game on a *deeper level. mk1 plays faster, smoother, than past nrs games, that is not a good or bad thing per say, but as years go by nd new games come out, fighting mechanics should evolve for the better. imo mk1 has evolved for the better. characters we love still have that original feeling, people hate on young Raidan's skin, but move set wise, copy nd past with adjustments. Which to me is perfect, hate using teleport to always BE PUNISHED or to always have to make a read... Now I can use a cameo to make certain things safe that I like to use nd see on screen. All in all each game has their good nd bads, mk11 imo plays clunky nd slow like a few nrs games before, but the combo when done right felt good, the moves nd general character design was good.

@picklericc1379 I have my issues with all mk games nowadays. I've always hated that instead of buffing every character to the same level they nerf them all. I think in any game it makes the gameplay watered down. I've moved on from mk and on to SF. I've been enjoying it a lot more even if it does have it's flaws. I also hate how the past 2 mk games have had an awful story to them since I have always loved the story of mk. But once again. I think mk1 would have been more fun if they would stop nerfing and just buffed everyone to be just absolute beasts in their own rights.

Hey brother, MK 11 all time probably since that was my first one competitively but MK 1 could be eventually throughout the years. I'm planning on competing in SF6 alongside MK but we'll see what happens, I appreciate it brother 🙏

Yea I think that’s a criticism you don’t see often with mk1, but the animations are nowhere near this game along with hits just not sounding as satisfying. I’m still a bigger fan of mkx and think mk11 is more flawed than good, but both those games got more going for them than mk1 imo.

Nah. Mk11 is a more polished product and in my opinion better in almost every way.

I love mk1 but mk11 had so much life left… It also still looks so amazing, it looks better than a bunch of modern games that are out now. Such a shame they dropped it, it could have been around for at least another 2-3 years with updates. It didn’t need new characters, maybe a few more and just more maps.

@@mostdiligent8332 I disagree. MK1 combos are way more fun and creative especially with cameos. The roster is more balanced and the game is more colorful and rich. I do miss the towers from MK11 though…
