Really nice and clear video tutorial. I was looking something like this to see if i change my z1 per Xone K2. Just would ask you if there is a "cue mix" and "cue volume" rottary button mapp to can balance the volume of the cue monitore? Thanks for your help!

Can you help me please. I own a db2 and also want to purchase 2 K2s to work alongside traktor 2.5 I only want the k2 to control cue, play, loop and browse functions whilst ALL effects, eq, mix and headphone cue monitoring to take place in the db2. I would like to have one K2 controlling deck A and the other deck B. however I also want to be able to trigger sample clips across the two sample decks C and D. I envisage using the top half of the K2s with the faders and buttons to control the indivi

latching layers off means we can only map ONE layer to map?

I don't understand how to map latching layers... mapping the first one (red) is easy, but after that... It'd be great if Allen & Heath, after bragging about the latching layers for so long, would come up with a proper A to Z video tutorial on mapping the 3 colored layers.

If I’ve my xone k2 on all controls latching layer function then I can’t assign different colors is it? On red just red on amber just amber and on green just green? I can access other colors only with pot switches latching function but on all controls we cannot access different colors is it? Feedback would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Khiz, Thanks for the comment, The main point for the Tri colour LEDs on the K2 (red, yellow, green), is purely to indicate what layer control is switched on. As it is possible to have a mixture of layers set to one layer (see pages 12&13 in user guide), it allows feedback to the user as to what layer is being affected/controlled. www.allen-heath.com/media/XoneK2_UG_AP8509_3.pdf It is not possible to have a mixture of colours assigned to the same layer. As this detracts away from the point of having different colours in the first place. Kind regards, Luke

Please explain again how to assign a certain color to the button. I have a Tractor 2.6.1 and the output automatically adjusts the same button, but in that case it lights up red. By what principle is the button color defined?

Hello Павлуша Нестеренко, if you look a pages 17/18 in the userguide, www.allen-heath.com/media/Xone+K2_UG_AP8509_2.pdf you will see the full Midi (return) implementation list. Each note # will have a colour next to it, you will bea able to choose between red, orange and green. Best regards Luke

Hello Павлуша Нестеренко, In Traktor control manager window, you need to select "Hold" under interaction mode for the K2 LED to trigger only while you have the button pressed down, therefore only illuminating when pressed.

problems with setting green light when i set loop or change size loop and turn off green light when i do not use loop. All with just with the midi cc rotary buttons and their leds please help

Hello Anton, The TSI maps we have available were built around Traktor pro 2, if they are not working in Pro 3 then we suggest making your own maps. Or approaching a third-party such as MIDI Monsters. With Latching layers inactive, the LED return implementation can use all three colours on a singular layer. However, if latching layers is active, then the three colours relate independently to each of the layers. Regards, Luke

Hey Marsovic, We don’t have any mapping from Dub-fire available I’m afraid. MIDI monster claim to have maps available which are used by Dub fire. midimonsters.com/downloads/allen-heath-xonek2-mapping/ I hope this helps! Best regards, Luke

mapping in traktor is horrible i would've never seen this coming in my wildest dreams, how on earth is it too hard for them to implement a button that let's you map controllers to software buttons on the fly
