I only had the D2 on the beach for a couple hours. Beaches in my area are BORING.

What is your audio filter set as? It may be too high. Also, try making the park program out of the deus Fast, it has the best separation. Why do you not use the bottle cap reject? Nobody wants to find junk jewelry anyway. You just compare the extreems. Silencer 0 and Silencer 5. What about the stock? Silencer at 2 and bottle caps at 2 to 3 and you will still hit gold and silver rings without problems. Now pendents and chains may be a different story.

Anyway, it's not so clear signal of jewellery. I heard the 1st program is for any case. Just set it a little and go. Seems to be that my x35=25khz is better for small gold. Smooth and clear

I had the best results with .71 in general program than any other program. The wet soil subtraction is great. You will get the best performance from the D2 by tuning it to the conditions. Stock programs are certainly not ideal to use on every hunt. Listening to the tones and feedback is extremely important to properly tune a detector.

Good morning so I’m pretty much running my legend 1.07 on the beach what do you think you would run Salt water

I have never had the Legend in saltwater before. The beaches here in Oregon are not good for metal detecting. The water is super cold and weather is not good for swimming. I am not much of a beach hunter and know very little about metal detecting beaches.

That is almost an impossible question to answer. There are thousands of variables that are out of our control when we are detecting. We find lots of gold within 3" deep. Finding deep gold will just be a fantasy for us detecting in the real world.

the problem is tiny gold dont sound at all! i find a little bracelet because was on surface the deus2 all open dont sound!

I hear you on that one. Full tones is not that great on the tiny gold. 2 tone or 5 tone would be much better.

0 filters works best in my soil. Yes I am crazy!!
