Sony needs better processing algorithms as smartphone photography is different from the professional camera photography which can be post tuned to much further level and in smartphones it requires some corrections by default.

The sound recorded on the iPhone was muffled, the Sony was louder and clearer, but the iPhone got the point. Many of the photo's on the iPhone were unnatural, over sharpened, over saturated and with contrast too high. For example the high contrast made the white lines on the blue blouse too strong and the fabric looks enhanced. The colour in all indoor iPhone videos were completely wrong. Yes, the highlights on the Xperia were blown out in some cases but I actually liked the photos better as the colour, contrast and balance were more natural.

Apple's colour science is 💩 imho. The Sony is much more natural and colour accurate to what your eye actually sees. Especially in the video comparisons.

The way Sony handles colors is way more superior than that of apple. apple tunes color way too arbitrarily from actual reality and gives sharpeness too aggressively.

@@nrnayem5028I wouldn't say that. From every mirrorless or dslr zoomed in image tend to be more flat and washed out than wider angle. Sony is just more natur in that way when Iphone tend to obersharp and oversafurate those photos Imo (and I know, people nowadays prefer obersharpened, oversaturated images with HDR level is going through the roof)

shitty AWB is such a huge deal breaker for iphone. I am currently using iPhone 14 pro and had been very disappointed with WB (even worse WB detection than old Galaxy Note 10 launched at 2019). It seems 15pro still has the exact same problem with White balance...

main critism for sony xperia was over exposure.. that is typically what professional photographers manually reduce to avoid over exposured parts in a picture.. and then after increase exposure again where needed.. for sure sony makes the better pictures.. ;)

If you look carefully Sony has a better overall color quality. iPhone may have "sharper details" but Sony has finer details. It's unfortunate that there are magenta and overexposure issues in Sony. Conclusion: Sony for me as it's color accuracy is on the next level.

0:40 Sony may have made your skin look too light but I don't think the Iphone has done a better job with color accuracy 😂 iphone never gets the skintone right. in all the reviews i've seen, it always makes their skin look yellow, orange, or red 😂

The Sony lacks color processing in the background. Look at the sky when shooting video clips and you will find it white. Unlike the iPhone, which shows you details in bright colors.

For casual users. Go for the iphone. And the sony has are extra option for Noise cancelling in video against wind. Or other sounds like water or cars. Potrait i dont know what she is shooting. But by me coming the potraits better out on my sony than on my 15 Pro Max. Video i give the point to iPhone. But rest of photography goes in my opinion and my own experience to sony. And from other reviews too. 1. I don't know how she is comparing this phones, cause this results are too iPhone fanboy. Or she cant shot photos🤣🤣🤣

What has sony been doing all these years? Like manual mode shouldn't be something that needs that much continuous work/development since the whole point is to be manual. Nothing really special about the phone which i could say required them to be actively dedicating time to it. like i genuinely can't say what sony is working on when it comes to these smartphone. The only thing i could say they worked on was the continuous zoom tech which is cool but doesn't exactly produce good results (but i understand its early days and i commend the innovation). I'm basically trying to figure out what excuse sony has to not be devoting some time to making their auto-mode acceptable.

hahaha what happened to my Sony? in auto mode every picture has been over-brightness. So let's conclusion: - Samsung: over-saturated - Sony: over-brightness - Apple: over-priced and yellowish skin stone :))

It looks like for portrait looks like a DSLR camera and the Iphone looks very digital with aggressive hdr so the overexposure is like on a DSLR that can be edited in post

Sony stopped listening to its die hard fans, and it never fixed its issues from Xperia 1 IV regarding burned pixels in low light manual and Bokeh modes (for front mostly). Xperia front is only for close a near win but for far away subjects Xperia is blurred all the time compared to Iphone so it's a miss here too. LED photo/video is very low and never fixed by software update considering it's a standard for the device while their devices are the most expensive ones. Overall shame for Sony having the know-how but fooling by marketing and never software fixing old devices but by getting new very expensive ones. Shame for Sony, good for Iphone, the best test for you!
