The link to github is in the comments, unfortunately if you haven't spent time on the tonymacx86 forums reading all the basics about how to create a hackintosh it may not be very helpful. took me a month from never touching a mac, to turning my xps 9570 into a fully functional MBP minus the GTX 1060. I used BavarianCakes EFI, it was the only EFI that worked right off the bat. I tried 4 others including Kevin's, lulettersoul's, Xitgun's etc. but unfortunately Lu's is not as well maintained as BavarianCake's and Lu's still has some issues. I use the Vodoo2c kext and I have all the gestures except the launch pad and apps. I opted to buy a Magic Trackpad and wow what a difference. I'm not expert like Kevin, but i'm happy to answer anyone's questions. This is NOT something someone can just show you how to do step by step, There is a Steep learning curve, especially if you've like me and never used mac, terminal and if you don't understand the back end of MacOS etc. but it's very doable. You are going to run in to issues and you'll need to use the forums and the people on github to help you. As with most niche techy things, It was my experience that the hackintosh community is not somewhere you just walk into and everyone makes you feel welcome and hands you everything you need. You really have to put in the time and effort and you'll probably deal with some difficult mods on tonymac. ;-| but like I said it's doable and totally worth it. I turned my 1k dell into a $2800 MBP.

Great video! I own this laptop and have need for bash...err, zsh i suppose. While WSL works fine-ish for most things, I think a native NIX system would do the job. I have the exact same laptop as you. It worked for me. Only issue is. No iMessages or FaceTime. tried everything from the provided links and Nothing. OS updates working. Oh and the track pad cursor icon jumps to the bottom left randomly while moving and clicking on things.

Curious on how you got the Clover Menu to display at normal size. You've got the 4K display model right? On my XPS 15 9560 Hackintosh that bit's super tiny no matter what theme or config changes I've made.

I'm not so tech savvy and need help with a step by step guide with the procedure you used to get the system ready for the installation of the MacOS. Especially the deactivation of secure boot of the UEFI settings and all the things you said we should do there after😡😡😟😟

I got it to work! Took a little bit of lulettersouls instructions and bavariancakes instructions and voila. It’s working but power and sleep are a bit wonky. No sdcard, and Bluetooth is a little shoddy on the 1830 card. Other than that, it’s not too bad

what mac os is best for my pc dell inspiron 15-3552 intel celeron N3060 1.60GHz 4GB ram what mac is best for my old pc dell inspiron 1525 intel celeron 2.00GHz (single core) 2GB ram I tried Mac OS X tiger on my old pc, I tried Mac OS X leopard on my old pc, and I tried Mac OS X snow leopard on my old pc. Mac OS X tiger was the fastest and supported internet (wired) and sound. the others either supported one thing or nothing at all.
