They're also complaining about the framerate and visuals from an underpowered portable console which released a generation ago, despite it clearly running in 60fps and looking very impressive. The Metroid Prime Remaster is also running at a rock-solid 60fps for reference. Makes me physically cringe how retarded chat is.

The older doom games have nothing to do with how Metroid Prime is played, thinking "1st person = Doom LULW" is pure gen alpha delusion.

Dragon Quest is one of the most iconic and influential game series of all time. Its the reason you have games like Elden Ring today. Chat is just uncultured as always. Sad!

As a fan of Dragon Quest, I appreciated, though seemingly disingenuous, that he said he was happy for those who enjoy it rather than bashing it. I get that turn-based games aren't for everyone, but some people are too quick to put down things either because of their graphical fidelity or other, more understandable preferences. I've been waiting for DQ content for a long while, and this meant a lot to me, as its a nostalgic series for me and among my favorites.

The gameplay from basically everything shown here was what you was playing in 2001, not a single bit of innovation.
