My favorite detail that was pointed out by others, is since he's tarnished his grace leads to the player. This shows that his goal is to kill the player meaning to Godfrey we are the boss

You know, I'm sure there was about 50 different things he was doing wrong when he was using rivers of blood, and I do know what it looks like when it's used properly, but he seemed to have a much better time when he went back to what he wanted to do, instead of using a meta weapon chat put him up to. so ultimately, I think it was good that he switched back to what he liked.

this wasnt much of a fight for my build, strengh poke build, you learn the fights quicker since you are far more durable with shields. I think i beat him in the third attempt

I love the way horah loux fights. As a fellow strength based unarmed specialist I cant wait to get his ashes of war. Really should have made this fight drawn out and longer. It would have made a real test with how focused you have to be.

You see his stats multiple times in this video. He has 22 str, 40 dex and 20 arcane. Even the requirements on starscourge greatswords were red. He is obviously spec'd for dex weapons.

This is my favorite boss in the entire game, lol. I was 99% sure he was the final boss so I went in with caestus only. It felt like the only way to fight this guy. A true duel to the death. Two strength chads duking it out. Also he is one of the most unique bosses in the entire souls series, IMO. His second phase basically turns into a WWE match and I love it. Idk how this streamer can get so angry…I had the most stupid grin on my face when I was fighting him. I laughed like a maniac when he launched me into the air in phase 2 and bodied me lol. This streamer needs a chill pill.

In the later new games this fight gets so intense. After ng+6 this fight is just fun. Period. Because all of his attacks do so much more damage and forget about being grabbed unless you have heavy armor. Not worth worrying about lol

That's exactly where the trap is in this fight. How slowly he attacks, how he takes his time to attack so you panic roll or your muscle memory makes you roll and get hit

Took me 7 tried and thats because i enjoyed the fight so much i deliberately died while he was one hit away just to fight him again. Not all ER bosses are good but those that are, they are extraordinarily good. Godfrey and Raddahn mvps.

@@moonlightblade292 I define better not neccessarily as hard but the quality of the overall fight, the music, the moveset of the enemy, the flow, the lore behind it and the feel of it. For instance my favourite fights in DS3 were Gael and Abyss watchers. Gael was the hardest boss and abyss watchers werent impressive in difficulty but both bosses were AMAZING to fight.

You might not be getting his timings right or you are missing tricks that would make your life easier. Each one has their own nemesis, but we all agree we hate Malenia equally.

His ancestral follower ashes was upgraded up to +3 at that time. xQc didn't really upgrade his spirit ashes that much.

Godfrey is the best sparring boss , gives us a fair fight and even says "twas nobly fought" when he kills you .

It hurt watching him complain about this weapon in real time never once using the weapon art. He's clearly familiar with the concept just after using summons he never bothered to restore his mana... oh well
