Of all KH3 worlds to return, I hope it’s the Tangled world. I know it’s an odd choice, but the TV show was seriously so good, and the story beats and new lore in the show work wondrously with the concepts of darkness in KH. If they took inspiration from the show, there would be so many more new locations in that world, adding in a lot of diversity in environment. Adding in characters like Varian and Cassandra would allow characters that can be morally more gray and still not cause the “Disney shutdown” issue since they’re not that popular, and seeing them in 3D for the first time would be nice too. The Sundrop being a metaphor for light and the moonstone being one for darkness would work almost too well for that particular world, and that’s why I want it!

I knew about Sea-Salt Ice Cream and Tifa. Of course, the "Tifa never interacted with anyone other than Cloud and Sora" argument doesn't exactly work, since she signed up to fight in the Hades Paradox Cup along with Cloud, Leon, and Yuffie, and Leon registered her presence when she entered Ansem's computer room. It's a shame that the memos were excised from the international releases, even in Final Mix. I do wonder what they entailed. I have never heard of them either.

So I down loaded Kingdom hearts UX Dark road awhile back. I was very addicted to it for awhile. Still can't get past mission 17. A few days ago I downloaded Kingdom Hearts UX through the Dark Road app because I noticed that it gives you the option to play Union X in the title screen of Dark Road. I love playing Union X. My favorite medals would have to be Young Eraqus and Young Xehanort because they're so powerful. I love the idea of playing as an original character and not have a set character to play as. It's kind of like "If I were in a Kingdom Hearts game." You know what I mean? These two games are literally the first Kingdom hearts games that I've ever played, so this is a big deal for me. I don't have the right gaming consoles so I can't play the other Kingdom hearts games. So to make up for it, I just watch the cut scenes and the game plays of other people. In any case, I'm just glad that I can say that I've played a Kingdom hearts game now.

It's a known thing Prodigy, Tifa's twist is definitely interesting. I was surprised when I first heard about it. I do feel there is potential for a FF world or two but I'd want them to pick one that resonates. I feel FF6's world has a vibe that fits many Disney themes, along with something more oldschool like FF3's world. While this next one is very obvious, FFXIII's world would fit super well as it's seriously Kingdom Hearts in FF form.

I can still remember back when Kingdom Hearts 2 was around and the fans were speculating on the secret ending. I can still remember watching that secret ending thinking it was going to be Kingdom Hearts 3. But as it turns out it was a prequel. And now, fans are doing it again with the Kingdom Hearts 3 secret ending. I've learned my lesson with KH2's secret ending.

11:56 Bit late but it has to do with translation and the context he's speaking about his project that has multiple storylines, themes, and messages. When they says "...can be seen as Cloud's light..." Then follows up with "...or a resident or hollow bastion..." he really means both are true.

So I guess the subplot with Cloud, Tifa and Sephiroth was really just meant to be a microcosm/reinforcement of some of the main themes of KH. Light, darkness, people who may or may not "exist", etc. Maybe even forshadowing the Ventus and Vanitas story? Ridiculous yet kind of genius... just like the whole series.

Never heard about the handwrited memos and the origin of the Sea salt ice cream. And I'm glad about these videos because we may know more about the game conception and little hidden details we would never know otherwise (as the source material is in JP and it is hard to translate...). About Tifa, I don't think the explanation/concept Nomura gives is correct in the KH impersonation and I also think this may change if we see more of FF characters in future KH games. It just looks strange/misplaced, IMO.

Honestly Tifa was just "there" and didn't do much compared to the other FF Characters in Kingdom Hearts II where they played a role and purpose.

Yeah that Tifa doesn't exist was so random to me lol. But I like find out more info about why they choose worlds!

I wish they'd toss in some more classic Disney again; I enjoyed KH3, but except for the Pixar worlds, I didn't really felt drawn to the game like the first 2 (and even some of the side games). I'd love to see a Dumbo's circus world or a weird Fantasia world. Or since Pirates was a world, why not another live action based world like 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea? Or a Haunted Mansion world to take over for Nightmare before Xmas?

1:31 It really makes you wonder what could've been if the game flopped. I can see it being an underrated gem and so many people would've looked away just because it's nothing more than just Disney. But Kingdom Hearts is more than just Disney. I'm really curious what this series would've been if the game didn't sell well. Especially since there is an epilogue and that secret ending.
