Practically her hand was face up when she said all in and he have baby flush .. smarter move would be raising same amount he did as it would give the impression she also have baby flush ! She wasted another 13k by being greedy!

Love the 2/3'rds river sizing from mariano with plans to snap fold to a raise. I know 2x pot, pot and 2/3rds were running through his head and he chose by far the best sizing is this exact scenario. What bluffs can xuan really have here + what calls twice then raises river that is worse than a 10x high flush? Lost the absolute min on river.

Why does Xuan go all-in rather than trying to induce a re-raise from Mariano? Or, in that position with only 10 high, is it a fold either way if the opponent doesn't snap fold?

I'd love to see Marianos winrate from SB and EP... the guy still hasn't understood that inflating pots with garbage OOP is not good... he never flats, only raises with speculative barely playable hands, systematically gets called, barrels and loses absurd amounts of bbs for no reason whatsoever... mind-boggling.

@embroi6055 Well having nit button or any other extra game involved does change strategy a lot then. But I still saw him making very bad preflop decisions. And yes, I did played 1000+ big blinds deep :)

@@embroi6055 If anything, playing deep makes T7s particularly vulnerable to reverse implied odds. You will rarely win a big pot and be forced to play for 1000bb stacks when you are never drawing to the nuts and are basically drawing dead or getting freerolled. Example: Flop T9d8d... but you are up against QJd. Or flop trip tens but are up against ATs... specially OOP it's just not a +EV strategy. Nah, he is a very very weak player... more so than many of the recreational players. His play from EP is just atrocious.

Good fold by Mariano, but a bad bet before then. What does betting get you? A better flush always calls or raises, and boats or quads always raise. You're basically hoping Xuan calls with a weaker flush--a very unlikely hand for her to have given how the hand played--or trip jacks. And she's a good player, so she might've folded JJJ.
