Same in Germany! I think first there dont live so many people as in Germany(About 85 million now) or especially the USA. And many Scandinavian Metal bands have been very successful in the last 20 years.So they have their heroes and may be even ordinary people,who are no metalheads, just appreciate that.

He has a really good metal voice! However, he doesn't sing it properly. On the phrase 'The evil that', Bruce bends it a little flat on the word 'the', in a blues fashion. Adds a distinct touch to it. I think it is so cool that the Europeans have no qualms about putting metal on the stage in competitions like this but American and Canadian Idol are so uptight. So glad James Durbin came into the picture! The man does a wicked Ronnie James Dio!

Ari Koivunen may have a good voice, but if you take a look at Eric Grönwall's cover of Run to the hills you will be suprised how much better he does a Iron Maiden cover. My opinion is also that the standard of idols in sweden is much higher. And no, I don't live in sweden, I live in Finland.

He is okay, there is a few Bruce notes he hits well. But you can tell he isnt an experienced entertainer. Number 1 hes a bit boring, and number 2, he is making sure every word is understood. The word men, often sounds more like "We" when Bruce sings. Althought he word is Men, an experienced singer knows when to manipulate a lyric for another sound. He has potential. He just needs a little guidance.
