I saw Nyx make a new Dream theme and I was really hoping it would be a battle theme. Sadly, my dreams were crushed /j, as it was not. So I decided, you know what, if you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself, a second time, because let’s do what I did two years ago but better.
(Also to be clear I’m in no way calling Nyx’s new theme bad lol, it's a great song, it’s just not a fight theme)
So consider this my formal challenge Nyx, prove yourself, write a better battle theme than me for Dream, I dare you, I double dare you, what are you, scared?

It had come at a cost, but the fight was over. Dream brushed away the blood on his head, tearing up at the pain and simultaneous relief that he'd saved this world. A child hiding in the rubble peered at the exhausted but victorious skeleton. Dream made eye contact and smiled at them, "It's over," he said, "Nightmare is gone." The skeleton stood and held out a hand to the child, "Thank you for enduring, little one. Because of you, we have triumph this day."

Holy crap, this is amazing. The very light, optimistic melody mixed with the darker undertones of the background music perfectly emulate Dream's dilemma. He wants to save everybody, stop Nightmare, and spread positivity throughout the multiverse, but the reality of the situation is that he can't. Nightmare and the gazillion other destroyers as well as the creators own cruelty are causing havoc and misery for everyone and there is absolutely nothing Dream can do about it since he refuses to kill anyone. All he really can do is stay positive and optimistic as the world burns around him.

The music is awesome like always and this is definitely something I’m going to playing on repeat for hours, but can talk about the art? It’s beautiful! The shading and pose and Dream’s expression! And the music with it just makes it so awesome! I love it! ^^

Oooh, I really like his theme. It gives me huge Pocket Mirror vibes, as a lot of the music composed for it has classic themes. It's a really cool and beautiful Horror RPG, which you should definetly check out, if you're interested ^^👌🏻👍🏻
